It was a spare moment in Bowen's work that he took the time to explore a bit more of this newly discovered world. A world of strange, but interesting creatures, of many different sorts, primarily used to battle against eachother in competitions of skill and knowledge.
And yet here he was, in a place called Saffron City, indulging in his own personal curiosities.. with the Manget Train.
Ever since he was a little boy he was fascinated with trains. It was an interest that still carried with him even today, even as it became a part time piece in his career.
While it was a little inconvenient that he had to leave it till after the sun had gone down, he at least was lucky to talk to a few people and get a chance to properly look at the Manget Train up close, while talking with staff about the concept and how it benefited commuters and trainers between Saffron and the bustling Goldenrod City in the Johto Region.
And then at some point, as if he considered it luck, he was left alone with the train for a while. He didn't get the chance to ask anyone what had required their attention, but they felt as if the train would be alright in his care. He wasn't going to take it anywhere, but he was happy to have a proper look around, inside and out.
Well and truly, he was unaware of what was about to unfold.:
