The 356 was updated for the 1960 model year, with a larger fuel tank, an external fuel filler on the right wing, twin dual-choke carburettors and smaller 15 inch wheels, though the same Volkswagen steering gear was retained 1600cc engines only with 60hp from the Damen up to 90hp from the Super 90, giving a top speed close to 110mph and 10 seconds for the 0-60mph sprint. t For 1962 externally the car now had twin engine lid grilles an external fuel filler in the right front wing/fender and a larger rear window in the coupé This car was imported into the UK by AFN and is finished in Reihner Grau (Heron Grey).
