"We are not just faces in a photo. We are human beings—trans, queer, proud, and still standing despite everything we face.

These pictures show our truth. We are a chosen family, united in the middle of pain, violence, rejection, and fear. Many of us have been beaten, abused, and cast aside just for being who we are. Some of us carry visible scars. Others carry pain that lives deep in our hearts.

We live in a place where being LGBTQ+ can cost you your safety—or your life. Yet we continue to raise our flags, wear our colors, and hold each other up because love, identity, and community cannot be erased.

We have lost one of our own. We are caring for friends who are in hospital, some needing urgent surgery. We are fighting every single day—not just for survival, but for dignity, for healing, and for hope.
