Mitchell was numbly balancing a cigarette between his lips, pulling at his lighter without really paying full attention to the task of lighting the thing. For the past few minutes, he had a pricking sensation travelling slowly up his spine until eventually the hairs on the back of his neck were standing up, and he was sure someone was watching him. He passed a few people on the street as he walked, but there was one set of footsteps he'd been focusing on ever since his suspicions arose.
The cigarette finally lit, he stuffed his lighter and one hand back in the pocket of his jacket and turned to face the girl behind him. He studied her silently for a moment, looking her up and down and taking a quick drag before lowering the cigarette from his mouth and exhaling. "D'you need help with something?" He asked, in a tone clearly indicating his sarcasm.
