'They were right,' Roger had said bluntly. 'To tell him--if he believed it--would force him to live in a state of deceit and denial, which would eat him alive, or to openly acknowledge that he's the bastard son of a Scottish criminal. Which is Just. Not. On. Not in eighteenth-century culture.'

AEitB complain
Itâs so frustrating that I canât really look gotham-ruaidh tumblr (or even all lenny9987 metas) because I know I will fall into temptation and read spoilers *sighes* and I already know too many.Â
An Echo in the Bone is at the moment boring, the ship thing is not entertaining and I still donât like the Willie/Lord John parts...
Lenny help me here and pretty please tell me again how this is one of your favorites?
Donât take me wrong, Iâm liking the book (Bree and Roger and the children are good plus Jamie+Claire+Ian are my favorite parts) but happened so much in the last book that this feels âstuckâ. Or maybe is because Iâm only  *accordingly to my phone* in chapter thirty-six.Â
Aah yes, yes, something Iâm very curious about: Bree and Roger ever look for Willie? I mean he is an earl so he must appear in history and a soldier, had connections with a duke (marry his daughter? i donât know if the whole thing with dottie is ~true~ doesnât seem like it being honest)
Oh boy this is gigantic and I only intended to complain about not reading gotham-ruaidh posts...
