This anime actually had a big impact on my life:

1. I think I was able to become more pushy and more aggressive towards my goals because of her. Gosh I used to be so obsessed with her lmao

2. My art style got significantly influenced by the anime and later on, by Noizi Ito (I love her art so much)

3. This anime gave me my first existential crisis, and in a way, I related to her boredom and desire to have her life stand out among the rest. Maybe that’s why I wanted to establish a clique in high school that did a lot of things (it happened, but we fell out).

4. Well not really an impact but I memorized the songs and even the dance steps *cringe*, the OST is amazing too. When I was younger, I believed that Haruhi was the top character, but now 8 years later and rewatching the series, I changed my opinion to Nagato being the best. I could only imagine the suffering she went through... ;__; And the ending for Disappearance really broke my heart.

Sorry for the inactivity! I was at my parents’ for the past two weeks and was busy trying to finish a commission so I could finally update my RLC prices! Anatomy and foreshortening are definitely inaccurate ahah Some random babbling/thoughts: the first time I saw Reisen I thought how funny it is to see a bunny girl on a business suit, but when she started launching her (fast as heck) spellcards I realized she’s no joking matter. Although they were enjoyable and really creative imo (I love how her ability to create illusions was shown in various spells such as creating ripples and make the bullets disappear), I still get nervous when I reach her stage. It’s fulfilling whenever I finish it. Just finished watching walkthroughs and I feel very dumb for actually memorizing the bullets’ positions at “Invisible Full Moon” and grazing them. Apparently you just.. Dodge the entire ripple.

Her OST is really something as well. With the constantly moving bullets, her theme adds a bit more to the tension. It’s soothing at some point, but the pace quickens up a little bit later on and all of a sudden it’s just a barrage of emotions.
