With her parent’s untimely demise at a young age, Joan Witch found herself saddled with the responsibility of both managing the inn they left behind and raising her younger sister. Yet despite her best efforts, when her sister approached her teens, Joan couldn’t prevent her from falling in with the wrong crowd.
So it was that one day, her sister’s wretched boyfriend came stumbling into the inn bruised, battered, and bleeding asking for help. He had pissed off the wrong people in one of his botched attempts at some shady deal, and Joan’s sister had been taken hostage.
After giving the guy a well-deserved wallop, Joan headed towards a secured, hidden room in their basement.
Inside the room was an assortment of weapons, ammunition, explosives...all kinds of dangerous tools enough to arm a small brigade. This was their parent’s well-kept secret. Before they had settled down, they used to be one of the most notorious couple in the underworld, extremely dangerous hired killers. Joan had only discovered this room years after their death, and never told her sister.
She was hoping it didn’t have to come to this, but since going to the police was out, she had to take matters into her own hands. Joan sacrificed her eye, it being replaced with a cucumber slice, in exchange for the knowledge her parents had as mercenaries so she could go rescue her sister.
