Dr. Eggman (Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Embrace the Finale)
*Aku-Aku touches the last Sludge and sends it back to Wumpa Island.*
Aku-Aku: "There, that's the last mutant we saved, returned back to Earth."
Crash: "Hooray! We did it! Oh, I am so happy we saved them all. I'd hate to see them meet a terrible fate."
Sonic: "I agree, that felt good. Now... how do we get out of here?"
N. Brio appears on a near monitor. "Ah, finally. You're done. Here, I'll call you guys back... ... ... Hmmm... something is preventing me from getting a lock on you guys..."
Crash: "Hey, the buttons here are gone too!"
N. Brio: "It appears the jamming is coming from Engineering. Can you guys head down there and fix it?"
Tails: "Sure. Although, how will we get down there?"
Sonic: "Well, let's head back on the platform and see if we can find a way from the main space station that we missed."
*Everyone gets on the platform, which starts making its way back to the Space Terrarium until it halts suddenly.*
Silver: "Hey, who stopped the platform?"
*Suddenly again, the platform lurches down, knocking everyone onto the floor. The platform flies towards the Eggman side of the Death Head and towards his teeth. The teeth open, letting the platform slide in and shutting behind them, leaving them in the dark. The platform let's them off.*
Crash: "Where are we?"
*A neon sign ahead buzzes on, pointing the way to Engineering.*
Shadow: "This can't be good."
Silver: "But it's the only way we can go..."
Spyro: "I say we just be extremely careful, and watch ourselves..."
*They make their way through the darkness, following the neon lit arrows to Engineering. Once there, they are greeted by Eggman's creepy singing.*
Eggman: ⪠"We'll meet again. Don't know where, don't know when! But I know we'll meet again some darkened day.
⪠"I'll keep smiling through, Just like you, Sonic, always do, Till I bring back the dark clouds from far away.
⪠"So will you please say 'hello', To the folks that I know, Tell them I won't be long. They'll be happy to know, That as you saw me go, I was singing this song.
⪠"We'll meet again. Don't know where, don't know when! But I know we'll meet again some darkened day!
*Somehow, Eggman starts harmonizing with himself.*
⪠"We'll meet again. Don't know where, don't know when! But I know we'll meet again some darkened day!

*Eggman finally reveals himself from one of the other hallways.* "Did I scare you with my singing?" *A few of the weaker members did seem a little scared.*
Sonic seems unfazed. "What's more scary is your ugly face. It looks like it belongs in a horror movie!"
*The camera does a close up on Eggmanâs face, getting all the wrinkles and ugly details. The classic cartoon scream is heard.* âBAH! Move that thing away from me a bit!â *He personally grabs the camera and pushes it back to show him standing in front of one of the consoles in the center.* âAhem, anyway, itâs been fun and all, with all that youâve done in time. But itâs the journeyâs end⌠for you.â
Sonic yawns. âAre we going to continue this song and dance or are we going to fight, cause Iâm bored!â
Eggman: âWell, I agree with you there, hedgehog. Letâs get to the fun! And Iâm feeling really confident, so why donât you guys turn super or whatever. It should make it interesting.â
*He surprised quite a few of them with that.*
Knuckles: âWhat?â
Shadow: âReally?â
Tails: âYou never would suggest that!â
Amy: âIs this a trap?â
Eggman shrugs. âEverything I do would be a trap for you guys, so thatâs a trick question.â
Sonic: âYou admitting defeat easily, Eggman?â
Eggman: âIt might be the craziness from spending too long in space, but-â
Sonic: âAlright, Iâm officially bored now, letâs hurry and defeat you and return to that beach vacation we were having however long that was ago.â
*We spend a short little camera pan of everyone going Super.*
Eggman: âExcellent, looks like my machines will be getting a good workout. Now, there was something I was supposed to be doing⌠oh, yes.â *Screams and does his well known run-that-is-somehow-faster-that-Super-Sonic away to the outside halls. Sonic and all the others follow suitâŚ, but before they leave, Tails messes with the console and unlocks the transport mechanism in case they need to leave quick.*

*Eggman leads them onto an outer walkway, but stops when he reaches a console. He hits a button, which raises a laser barrier in front of him. Sonic and the others makes attempts to slow down, and most of them do. But Tails, Rouge, Cream, Charmy, Bianca, Hunter, and Sgt Byrd were going too fast and ended up getting caught in the trap as a laser barrier shuts them in.*
Eggman: âBwah hah ha! I see I got some subjects to test out my new laser system!â He presses a button which works the laser that barely misses them as they jump away. âCome on, fools! Letâs see you break this one!â
Boss: Barrier Eggman
Fighters: Tails, Rouge, Cream, Charmy, Bianca, Hunter, Sgt Byrd
(It's soft, yet perfect for the Egg)
Eggman has trapped them between two barriers and you must help them get out of this trap. The only way you are going to get out is by hitting the laser as it moves around, trying to hit you. The good news is that the laser canât hurt you and being hit by the laser just bounces you back. The bad news is just maintaining your super form to avoid dying easily. Changing to a different character will drain their supply of rings while letting the others rebuild theirs, but oddly Eggman must be feeling generous as he may sometimes drop a lot of rings from the laser instead of a laser shot. Hmmm, odd, but perhaps itâs because the laser has a ton of health, about 256 points worth. So, better not waste time and just whack away at it in any way you can.
Achievement Unlocked: Laser Rebound
*Upon the final hit, the laser breaks apart into pieces and the barriers drop. Eggman runs off. Our fighting 7 look exhausted and their super forms disappear. The others move on, but Sonic stays behind.*
Super Sonic: âGo ahead, guys, tell N. Brio to call you guys back to Earth. We got this.â *He smiles.*
Tails: âOf course, Sonic. Come on, guys, letâs get out of here.â *They go the other direction to find N. Brio. Sonic hurries on ahead to reach the othersâŚ*

*Eggman leads them further along the walkways until he stops at yet another console and brings up another laser barrier. Once again, quite a few of them are able to stop short, but Knuckles, Omega, Big, Vector, Bentley, Sheila, Von Clutch and Pasadena end up tripping into the, er, trap. The other laser barrier comes on and closes them in.*
Super Knuckles: âSo what trap do you have this time for us, huh?â
Eggman: âSomething quite simple really. Itâs a non-trademark-infringing Death Ball!â *It comes flying in and it starts spewing little spiked cars.* âLetâs see you break- wait, what!!â *He sees one of them throwing a spike car at the Death Ball which causes a little damage. âThatâs cheating!â
Super OMEGA: âIT IS NOT CHEATING IF YOU NEVER SPECIFIED IT.â
Eggman mutters: âDamn my brilliance to include a perfect logic sensor in robots like him.â Out loud. âFine, still, itâs going to take a lot of work, especially with what I got!â
Boss: The Death Ball
Fighters: Knuckles, Omega, Big, Vector, Bentley, Sheila, Von Clutch and Pasadena
(Time to boss out with your electric guitar out!)
Eggmanâs not playing around, heâs sent out his difficult Death Ball against you. You canât hit it directly by touching it, but you can throw stuff at it to damage it. It will take quite a bit of throwing though, since this boss has 256 points of health too. You could throw the spike cars harder, or, if youâre feeling lucky, you can attack and destroy a Twin Hammer that Eggman keeps sicing on you and throw the wreckage at the Death Ball for big damage. Once again, Eggman doesnât seem to be aiming to kill you as he drops rings from the Death Ball off and on. The only other trick Eggman has is that he will reverse gravity every 16 points of damage, destroying all spike cars and wreckage to make it tougher to break the Death Ball.
Achievement Unlocked: One Less Disco Ball In the World
*Upon destruction of the Death Ball, the barriers drop and Eggman runs off again. And again, the 8 fighters get drained of their Super forms. The others hurry on ahead and Sonic stays behind to see them get warped off back to Earth by N. Brio, suggesting Tails and others got back safe too. Sonic hurries to catch upâŚ*

*Our heroes hurry along the walkways until it gives away to to the docking station, where they lose Eggman.*
Super Amy: âHmmm, i wonder where Eggman went?â
Super Blaze: âWe only had one way to go, where could he have disappeared to?â
Super Espio: âI donât like this.â
Only Eggmanâs voice can be heard. âYou got a right to be not liking this! Notice something missing?â
*Sonic and quite a few others were gone, leaving Amy, Espio, Blaze, Ember and Bandit, Agent 9 and Blink left.*
Super Amy: âAh! Sonicâs gone! Along with Spyro and all of the others!â
Eggman: âDing! Thatâs right! I bet you wonder where they are, huh?â
Super Agent 9: âWhat have you done to them?â
*Eggman appears, driving his gigantic Great Eggman Robo. He touches his nose which reveals the space that would have held the Master Emerald was now carrying Sonic, Spyro, Crash, SHadow, Silver, Cynder, Coco and Crunch in it. It shuts again.*
Eggman: âThe fools stupidly walked into it. Itâs easy to trip you fools with a robotic copy of me. I bet you want them back!â
Bandit: âYouâre damn right we do!â
Eggman: âThen, fight me! See if you can free themâŚâ
Boss: Great Eggman Robo
Fighters: Amy, Espio, Blaze, Ember and Bandit, Agent 9, Blink
(Fingers tent evilly)
Eggman has forced Amy and the others to walk onto the easily collapsible scaffolding around the docking bay. Like the last time this Great Eggman Robo was fought, you need to start with breaking all the fingers first. This should be easily done so there is no reason to dwell here. The camera will then flip onto the scaffolding, looking towards the docking bay,  as Eggman rises and starts collapsing the scaffolding again as he marches towards you. Falling off is instant death and Eggman will be doing that in any way he can, from an hand swat, a fireball shot from his nose, or some laser shots from his eyes (Think of it like an Aero-chaser lasers). You can keep away from him by going towards the camera, but youâre going to have to attack him sooner or later to save Sonic and the others. You must hit the nose (Or upper chest area) to drop the armor in front of the glass container so you can break it. But that isnât any regular glass container, as it is actually a laser! Heâll use Sonic and the others to charge it and fire it towards the camera. The laser, along with everything else, will not hurt your Super form but will trip you into possibly falling off and dying. At least the laser can be jumped out of the way if you jump before it fires (The others jump at the proper time so watch them). On a rare occasion, the laser will spew out a ton of rings instead to help you maintain a super form. Just keep hitting that glass cannon until it breaks apartâŚ
Achievement Unlocked: The Egg-perial March
*The glass cannon shatters and Sonic, Spyro, Crash, Shadow, Silver, Cynder, Coco, and Crunch escape the mech. Amy and the others tire out of their Super forms and are warped back to Earth.*

Eggman: âSo⌠it has come to this⌠A bunch of so-called âheroesâ from their worlds⌠and me⌠Sounds pretty exciting if you ask meâŚâ
Super Sonic: âSo what do you have left, Eggman? Some mech to let you run away and we chase you down?â
Eggman: âOh⌠I have no intention of running. In fact, I think it will be you that will be runningâŚâ
*Eggman disposes of the Great Eggman Robo exoskeleton to reveal a dark beast hiding underneathâŚ*
Super Crash: âWhat is that?!â
Super Crunch: âIâve never seen anything like that!â
Super Coco: âThe only closest dark thing i can think of is the Grimlies, but this looks much darker than those!â
Super Spyro: âIt certainly gives the Dark Entity that was in Malafor a run for his money.â
Super Cynder: âIâve never seen something so dark. What is it?â
Super Silver: âThe Time EaterâŚâ
Super Shadow: âItâs a being that controls time and space⌠and for some reason, it is quite fond of the Doctor. But what I donât understand is how it came back since the last defeat...â
Eggman: âThatâs right! And if youâre so curious⌠well, letâs just say it canât die. Iâm going to sic it on you guys! Attack them, my Time Eater!â
*The Time Eater starts attacking Sonic and the othersâŚ*
Final Boss: The Time Eater
Fighters: Sonic, Spyro, Crash, Shadow, Silver, Cynder, Coco, and Crunch
(Some proper final boss music.)
Dr. Eggman is not holding back on you with this monster, and he will do everything he can to keep you away from the Time Eater. He will fire green lasers, yellow laser arrows that try to home in on you, and even try to swing its arms at you. None of these hurts you, but it will keep you away from the Time Eater, so try to avoid that. The goal here is to destroy the energy source on the lower half of its body by touching it. It does have a lot of health though, so it isnât going down fast. Taking out an â of its health will make it retaliate by moving far ahead in space and attacking your from afar with dark matter meteors, itâs own hands (by warping them over and trying to crush you), and throwing out clock faces with spinning hands, all in an effort to knock you away. You have to get close so you can attack its energy source. Do this 4 more times to win, but be careful, as the Time Eater will attack faster with the more damage it gets.
Achievement Unlocked: The EndâŚ

*The energy source shatters and spreads into the surrounding air. Sonic flies on over to the cockpit area to see Eggman.*
Super Sonic: âHah! We destroyed the Time Eater again. Are you going to raise the white flag of surrender?â
Eggman: âOh⌠I think you should be the one calling surrenderâŚâ
Super Sonic: âWhat?â
*The purple smoke that was blinding the view into the cockpit slowly vanished, revealing Eggman⌠which was actually a robot version of him that finally broke apart from being bumped around too much. It starting singing âWeâll Meet Againâ.
*The others look to see the broken Eggman.*
Super Silver: âSo this was⌠another fake?â
Super Shadow: âThen whereâs the⌠real doctor?â
Super Spyro: âUh, not to change the subject, but whatâs that ticking sound?â
Super Sonic: âTicking sound?â
* âEggmanâsâ glasses fall off, revealing a timer that is ticking down.*
Super Crash: âHeâs a bomb?!â
*Before everyone can start panicking, N. Brio is finally able to find them and get them back to Earth. Once there...*
Sonic: âGet everyone through the portal, quick!â
Tails: âWhy? What happened?â
Sonic: âNo time, just move!â
*Everyone, including all the mutants they saved, hurriedly enter the portal and return back to Sonicâs world as the Eggman bomb explodes. It chains onto the âTime Eaterâ, which appears to have been a huge mech filled with the most unstable compounds that could be found. It then chain explodes the Death Head, which blows up into a black hole that consumes the universe there, sucking up everyone, including Cortex and all of his minions...*
SONICâS WORLD: SPACE COLONY ARK
*Soon after everyone gets through the portal, it disappears as there is no universe to link to anymore.*
N. Brio notices the portal disappearing. âWha- what happened?â
Sonic: âI should have known⌠it was a trap for us⌠to make us disappearâŚâ
Shadow: âLooks like we barely escaped whatever that bomb was.â
Silver: âAnd if I know time and space, I think the universe there is goneâŚâ
Crash tears up: âMy home⌠Our homes...â
Coco tries to cheer her brother up. âItâs alright, Crash. Itâll be okayâŚâ
Crunch: âWeâll make a new home!â
Aku-Aku: âAnd I will be here to guide you, Crash.â *He smiles.*
Sonic: âCome on, Crash, this is no time to cry, Come on, letâs throw a bigger vacation party than what we had to leave earlier!â
Crash: âYAHOO!â
Sonic: âAnd Spyro, what donât you invite all the dragons and other creatures from your world to it as well?!â
Spyro: âYou got it!â
*Tails inputs the coordinates for Spyroâs world, which brings up that portal. Spyro leaves, then later returns with everyone he could find (All the dragons, Elora, The Professor, etc.).*
Sonic: âWhoo! Now letâs have that well-earned vacation!â
*Everyone cheers and leave the ARK by Eggmanâs leftover ships.*

*What everyone never noticed though is that Spyroâs portal disappears like Crashâs tooâŚ*

*We find ourselves in a nearly pitch dark area, barely able to tell if anyone is in the room, but there is at least two talking.*
????: âDo you think they saw you?â
*****: âNo. They were gone before I grabbed what we needed, and then immediately shut it down.â
????: âWonderful. So you got the Dark Entity?â
*****: âYep, and he was pretty easy to convince to our cause. Heâs sleeping right now, regaining energyâŚâ
????: âAnd Cortex and his minions?â
*****: âEndlessly roaming around. Soon, they will be captured and put in prisonsâŚâ
????: *A small chuckle is heard.* âGood⌠now we move on to new worlds⌠messing with them and then destroying them as soon as we get what we need.â
*****: âSo⌠where are we off to next?â
????â âI think I saw something interesting we could take in that strange anthro world that looks a lot like Earth, but with animals.â
*****: âDo you want me to go?â
????: âNo. You did a good job handling that mech Eggman earlier. Iâll go⌠we should share our victories together, you know.â
*****: âMm, indeed. Hopefully soon-â
????: âYou saw it too, that prophetic vision in this world. It regave us the Time Eater. It wants us to have our dream come true! Not âhopefullyâ. It will be soon⌠And weâre going to bring Sonic to his knees...â

Chapter 37: Dakka-Dakka, See?
Crash and the others find themselves in the 1930's Terrarium. It seems to be a whole city, looking quite a lot like 1930's New York, hmmm. In any case, it's pretty clear who's in control based on all the Wanted posters: Don Pinstripelli Potorotti and his gang of Mafia Lab Assistants and Machine Gunners.
Shadow looks at one of the Wanted posters. "Don Pinstripelli Potorotti, huh? Who's he?"
Crash: "He's Cortex's tommy-gun-wielding bodyguard. You know he's around is you hear mad laughter."
Pinstripe laughs from down the street that they are on. His heavy Brooklyn accent is another clear trait of his. "That's right, ya fools. And, unlike the others you faced, I aint the kind of guy to just sit around and do nothing. Ifs ya want to get me, you're gonna have to chase me." *He laughs again and fires blind down the street, dispersing everyone. He leaves with his gang down the street and out of sight.*
Shadow: "Well, isn't he nice."
Crash: "Yeah. He loves that gun of his. Let's go deal with him."

*Pinstripe appears*
"So, you'se guys are gonna give chase, huh? Well, know that I aint going to be easy to take down." *He disappears.*

Helping Partner: Bianca
Badniks: Knife Lab Assistant Pawns: Pinstripe suited Pawns that try to stab at you to hurt you. Too bad they have a short reach.
Mutants: Mob Potoroos: They dress in black like Pinstripe, and they fire a few bullets off and on. Snipe: A Fox + Tropical Bird Hybrid. They fit perfectly in Pinstripes gang, since they fire those feathers like bullets. The only thing noticeably different is their new suits.
Kaotickanine says: The slums of New York, where the poorest of the poor reside and a magnet for all sorts of trouble. Right now, the streets appear to be empty. A little bit too empty and quiet⌠Nevertheless, you gotta chase down Pinstripe, who will be firing shots off at you every now and again. Use the abandoned cars, trash cans, and other piles of junk to shield yourself from his gunfire. Youâll also encounter random knife wielding punks but theyâre chumps, so be sure to teach them not to bring a knife to a spin fight!
Indeed, chasing Pinstripe down will not be easy. He loves his Tommy gun and isn't afraid of shooting you down. Thankfully, he went down these junked up streets. Too bad anytime you get close, he runs down the street to put some distance against you.

Badniks: Motorcycle Gunner Lab Assistant Pawns: They ride their hogs to, well, hog the road and fire off their guns at you. They come in 2 different clothes, to make it really fell like rival gangs.
Kaotickanine notes: Now we see why the slums were empty and quiet: a gang war was about to start! And now it has arrived, with our heroes in the crossfire! Luckily, someone left behind a good motorcycle with the keys still attached, but you still gotta get out of there while chasing down Pinstripe. Try to avoid the giant piles of junk in the street and donât ever stop moving or else Pinstripe will get away and you become swiss cheese!
Yep, such good luck with the motorcycle. Crash takes the front to steer and gas it while Blink rides the back firing his lasers. You need to keep up with Pinstripe's getaway car and damage it enough so you can catch Pinstripe. OSHA was either negligent or bribed to ignore this place, because the factory is very hazardous, with the lack of guard rails being only the start! Pinstripe will also take constant shots at you throughout the place, but luckily the factory provides plenty of cover to avoid his gunfire.
Yeah, Pinstripe sure knows how to make a fortune and ignore safety. There is some good news! Pinstripe sections are a little more spread out. But the bad news is that the non-Pinstripe sections are filled with dangerous machinery that must be avoided, unless you want to become product yourself.

(Signs on the street seem to have Cortex as Sheriff.) They're blocking the road and shooting at you, and you have to dodge them to avoid becoming road kill.
Kaotickanine notes: Weâre back on the motorcycle, this time giving chase to Pinstripe through the streets of New Yorkâs more high class neighborhood. Fortunately, thereâs no garbage to interfere and no random bullets from the gang war, but all of Pinstripeâs goons are out and theyâre gunning directly after you! Not only that but Pinstripe is now in his limo and can now shoot at you at all times, only stopping to reload his gun. And not only that, but the cops have called in and they will shoot at you while trying to block off the road!
Agent 9 brought the motorcycle with them and he sits in the back this time. Luckily, he found his laser gun that fires multiple shots so it should be easier to take stuff down. Pinstripe is not holding back in his limo as he tends to shoot more often this time. The limo is stronger than the getaway car, but it still shouldn't be too hard to take out of commission. (Agent 9's laser only does 1% damage per shot, but it fires a lot more often.) Succeeding will send you to Pinstripe's abode...

Thereâs no time to admire the castle/mansion architecture with all these bullets and lasers all about. Pinstripe has lasers swinging in the halls that, if tripped, will cause guns behind window to start shooting off and on, making you have to do the bullet limbo. Itâs a gun fight with Pinstripe through the long halls and the moonlit courtyards. At least the exquisite art and shrubbery should have you âOooo-ingâ and âAaaaaah-ingâ. Oh, wait, theyâre ugly with the villains on them. Shield your eyes! :P

After warping back, Crash and Hunter chase Pinstripe to his business room.
Pinstripe: "No more running. I'm getting tired of that. Time to take you guys head on."
*He knocks over his desk and start shooting away at you. He calls some goons in to bring in more heat.*
Boss: Pinstripe
Pinstripe will, for the most part, be hopping around the room firing bullets at you while his goons fire off short bursts of shots themselves. Although they will regenerate in 30 seconds, defeating them will definitely make the fight easier. Sooner or later, Pinstripe will stop to reload his gun, which is the time to attack him. It's pretty simple, but he will fire longer and take less time to reload with the more hits he takes. And after losing half his health, he will start lobbing grenades to keep you on your toes and not sticking behind one piece of furniture. Hit him 6 times to win.

*Pinstripe collapses on the floor with his gun and is teleported away. Crash and Hunter leave for the others and leave the terrarium.*

Just then, N. Oxide runs in.
Oxide: "Cortex! I'm done being sidelined! It's my turn! I can't just sit around anymore!"
Cortex: "There's no need to shout!" He moans again
Eggman: "Hmm. Wait, Cortex, this might be a good idea. Sonic sure loves racing. Oxide might have a chance. Go, Oxide! Show us your speed!"
Oxide: "I will, sirs! They will know the meaning of fast with me!" *And, with that, Oxide is transported away.*

Chapter 35: Nina's Little Terrarium Of Horrors
*Our heroes enter the Transylvania Terrarium. Once there, they find themselves in a city under the morning sun. The buildings are tower-like and only have bases with sharp corners. Shadows extend tall and wide in the sunlight.*
Espio is lost in thought and gives an audible "Hmmm..."
Spyro has a concerned look "What's wrong, Espio?"
Espio: "Something is not right here..."
Shadow seems lost in thought too. "He's right. But what is it..."
Tails: "What makes you guys think that?"
Silver: "I think I know... it's that Sun."
Blaze: "The sun?" *She looks at it.* "OH!"
Sonic: "What is it? We can't see it clearly like you can."
Blaze: "That's not a sun. It's lights surrounding a clock. And someone forced the whole rig out of alignment so it can't move normally."
Sonic: "So it's morning here unless it's fixed. But I don't see what's the problem."
Shadow: "I think that clock also controls the sun in those warp areas."
Espio: "So if it's morning here forever, it will be morning in the past forever too."
Tails: "So we have to fix it. But how..."
Silver: "Hey, Crash, do you mind if I take the lead for this world?"
Crash: "Sure! Go right ahead." *Crash smiles.*
Silver: "Alright then. Let's fix this."

Welcome to the Transylvanian Terrarium... although it doesn't really feel like it right now. This first level is a romp through the swamp which you can sink into if you keep still. It shouldn't be that tough to keep moving since there are weak enemies about. What will surprise you is that halfway through the level is a psychic spot...
Silver: "Hey, Crash, I think these markings on the ground suggest I can use my psychokinesis here."
Crash: "So you can get the sun moving?"
Silver: "Hmm..."
*One psychokinetic movement by the player later (Done by manipulating the sun).*
Silver: "Hmm, it's still stuck, but I got it to the mid morning position. I think we need to find more."

The next level finds ourselves in the woods with the sun peeking through the tress. It's pretty quiet, save for the badniks and mutants here and there. (Brat Girls are LOUD, let me tell you, but even they seem sparse.) All you can do is follow the wooded path to a clearing with open sky. Here, you will find another psychic spot.
Silver: "Hey, look, Blaze, here's another one!"
Blaze: "Nice, but something..." *She trails off before saying.* "Never mind. I think it's just paranoia. Go and fix it."
*Once again, you'll make Silver move the sun into a very late morning position. Another gem is given and you are warped out of here.*

Tails gives a curious look. "Hmmm... why here?" *He mutters.*
Moving the sun here sends it to the early afternoon position. Yet another gem for you as you leave the level now.

Amy, who stays behind, wonders "I'm worried for these people, they seem so scared... I wonder if what Silver is doing is going to scare them more."

Considering the usage of lowercase 'n's on the embroidery, this castle must be controlled by Nina. Although, why does it seem so quiet? There's practically no enemies from the entrance area, through a few halls, and to its garden. And in the center of the garden is another psychic spot.
Silver: "Heh, this is just so easy!" *He hurries over to it.*
Shadow: "Almost too easy..." *He sees Silver moving the sun to the evening position.* "Silver, wait!"
*But it was too late. A Yellow Gem appeared as they were taken away from the level and deep into the castle depths back in the terrarium...*Â

*Nina does her snorted evil laugh as Silver and Shadow appear in what could be called her throne room. Shadow and Silver and held in devices that hold their arms down.*
Nina: "Well, don't you got some nerve, thinking you can waltz in my world and mess with my stuff!" *She says, making sure to sound like a brat.*
Silver: "Well, it's not right to hold time in the past."
Nina: "Well, you got me there, geniuses, I don't really like the daytime myself. Heh he, and thanks to you, I can make it nighttime again!"
*The ceiling opens above them, opening up to the rest of the castle and the outside. A ray gun in the top of the castle hits the lights and clock on the terrarium ceiling and fixes the lights and makes it night time instantly.*
Nina taunts in a cute voice. "Thanks for being so helpful, you cute animals. You guys deserve a reward."
Shadow speaks deadpan. "I can only bet that the reward will be bad."
Nina: "Ding, ding! The emo hedgehog has got it right!"
*Shadow: "Hey!" *
Nina geeks out as she goes down the stairs to the hedgehogs. "You know what is a wonderful kind of horror? Not being in your own body."
Silver; "So what? Are you going to body snatch us?"
Nina: "Nah, I'm thinking something more 'Freaky Friday'-ish."
Shadow: "What? But that isn't a horror movie-" *He shuts himself up.*
Nina: "Ah, a film buff, eh Shadow? Heh, you say it isn't, but once I'm done with you, you think it will be." *She operates a console for the time twister here.* "Time to send you back to your friends. But first..." *She forces Shadow and Silver to hold hands *
Shadow questions her actions as it confuses him. "Why are you doing that?"
Nina: "May just be a little fantasy, but I know for sure that this will mess with your bodies. See you later, you stupid dorks!"
*She starts the Time Twister and sends them back to Sonic and the others, messing with their minds in the process...*

*Now the city that was once in the bright sunlight becomes the city of darkness, lit only by the moon, stars and a sparse lamplight here and there.*
Rouge: "Hmmm... now where have Shadow and Silver gone, they should be back now that it is nighttime here."
*A warp orb appears in front of them and Shadow and Silver are dumped out.*
Blaze hurries to them first. "Are you guys alright?"
*The two hedgehogs get up in unison, but the camera is behind them.*
Silver?: "Yeah, we are."
Shadow?: "Just very dizzy."
Blaze has a confused and open mouth. "Um... where were you guys?"
Silver?: "With that Nina."
Shadow?: "She captured us from my stupidity."
Crash: "Oh no. What did you do, Nina?"
*The camera flips to their fronts.*
Shadow, with Silver's voice: "What's wrong?"
Silver, with Shadow's voice: "She did say she was going to perform a 'Freaky Friday' on us."
Rouge: "Hmm, so that means that their minds are in each other's bodies, right?"
Shadow's voice: "Is it bad?"
Rouge: "No, but why are you guys holding hands?"
Silver's voice: "Oh! She made us leave like this."
Sonic: "Uh-huh..." *He trails off.*
Coco: "I think it might be a good idea to try to go after Nina, but we realized that we don't have any crystals from here."
Shadow's voice: "And we were in the castle back there."
Crunch: "I think we found it locked, saying it needed the crystals here too."
Tails stutters a little. "S-s-so that means we need to go through the past again... at night."
Espio: "I have a feeling it's going to be much tougher now."
Silver's voice: "Can we hurry and get this over with?"
Crash: "Yeah, a good idea." *Crash decided to lead and let Silver and Shadow rest.*

Now it's back through the swamp again, and through it fully this time. It's made tougher by the transformed Amphibian Pawns. Try not to let it grab you or it will drag you into the swamp. Those Grimlies are helpful though, since they will float over the swamp. And for the 5 levels, the crystal is where the psychic spot was. The level ends at the end of the swamp, at the edge of the forest.

Wow, the forest is so scary now since dark has fallen. It might be a good idea to run since those haunted trees are everywhere. The level ends at the end of the forest, showing the edge of the graveyard...

They need to be led into bright light to be destroyable.Â
You can just feel the fear emanating off of Tails, so lets hurry through the graveyard. Make sure to not get outnumbered by the badniks or death may be quick. This graveyard level ends at the outskirts of the village.Â

A difference from before is that there is a hedge maze in the garden, hiding secret passages to the Yellow Gem and Crystal. Afterwards, it's through a few more halls and the lab area to the warp out of here.Â

Crash and Sonic return back to the terrarium and lead everyone into the castle in there.
Only Nina's voice can be heard. "Ah, so the bandicoot and his friends have arrived. How is the couple enjoying their togetherness?"
Shadow's voice: "We manage."
Silver's voice: "Now return us back to normal!"
Nina does her brat voice. "Maybe I don't wanna."
Sonic: "Sound like to me someone needs a boss battle beating."
Nina appears from the ceiling walls above in her improved Aracnina. "Heh, what a good idea. But it will be I who beats you! Scared yet?"
Sonic yawns. "Oh, please, Eggman's made worse."
Nina: "Well, I don't care! Die mutants!" *She starts charging her laser.*
Boss: Nina's Aracnina
(I see her boss music as a remix of this cause she's a brat girl and she's gonna put a spell on you. :P )
I don't think Nina realized just how Eggman-like she is. She has quite a simple boss battle. She'll try to cut you down with the saw-blade a few times before turning the mech into its spider form and firing a laser from its mouth. It's a good time to jump and hit the head then. Like an Eggman contraption, do this 8 times to win.

*The machine collapses in defeat.*
Sonic: "See, I told you so. That was boring for once."
Nina: "Now see here, hedgehog, I have a right mind to-" *Before she can finish, a transport beam sends her away. It's for the best...*

Tails looks at the time twister console. "Hmmm..." *He works it and warps Shadow and Silver in it, and fixes them so they are in the correct bodies again.*
Shadow checks to be sure everything is fine. "Thank goodness."
Rouge hugs Shadow. "Indeed it is." *Shadow is surprised.*
Silver checks himself out too. "Nice to be back in my body again."
Blaze smiles at him. "You got that right." *She giggles, which makes Silver blush a little.*
*The heroes leave the terrarium.*
Death Head's / Space Egg's Bridge
Eggman: "Why did you teleport her away? We could have been done with them."
Cortex: "Trust me, it would have been a done with us too, Eggman. Besides..." *Ripper Roo hops in.* "Dr. Roo is here."
Eggman: "Dr. Roo?"
Ripper Roo speaks with a posh accent. "Shall I go and defeat the bandicoot, sir?"
Cortex: "Of course." *He warps him to the next terrarium.* "This should be explosive." *He laughs.*
Eggman is confused. "I don't get it."
Cortex: "What, you have a scrambled mind?" *He laughs louder.*
Eggman at first says "Oh." before realizing with and "Oh." and proceeds to punch the laughing Cortex in the face.
Next Time: Will you be up the creek without a paddle in the Forest Terrarium?
