The fic has Scott as Stiles older adopted brother, they have been left orphaned after their pack was killed. Scott is a deputy. Derek is kinda nerdy and the same age as Stiles, he lives with his dad who is some sort of werewolf royalty and I think a scientist?

Sterek meet at school and Stiles and Derek end up best friends when Stiles starts spending more and more time over at Derek’s.

Stiles is magical, and it starts to present, the garden he spends time in is unseasonably thriving and when Derek complains about the sun through te kitchen window, the next day a tree has grown to shade it.

Something goes down and a elderly magic woman comes to visit, her mate can fully shift and somehow shares vision with her, as one of them is blind.
