Character A has the worst allergies- sneezing, coughing, dizziness, all of it. They’re graduating from high school/college soon and want to find a new place to live. Character B decides to take them on a trip across the country, following where Character A’s stuffy nose and red eyes lead them.

When a group of friends find out their favorite musician is playing their last show ever, they decide they have to go; even if that means sneaking out in the middle of the night, leaving notes taped to fridges, and driving for three days to get there.

Character A has always wanted to go to Disney World. They live too far away to even dream of it,  though. That is, until Character B offers to let Character A come along with them and their sibling, Character C. The only problem is, Character A and Character C have never liked each other. But there’s no way Character A is not going. It’s going to be a long car ride.

Character A is alone at the park, just hanging out in the middle of the night, when there is a bright light and two loud booms. Upon investigating, Character A finds two fallen angels that now need to get to the entrance of Heaven. Character A, who has a car, gas money, and nothing but time, offers to drive them.

Character A’s life is in a constant state of hectic activity. As a result, they have been incredibly tired lately, almost to the point of falling asleep standing up. Also as a result, Character A spends a lot of mornings (and afternoons, and evenings) getting coffee. The coffee shop’s opener- Character B -- and the closer,  Character C -- have both taken to this tired customer, and are both very worried.

Character A is a new employee in their town’s local magic coffee shop. Customers come to get a drink with a special potion that will help them be more focused, creative, steadfast, risky, or anything they need to be that day. Character A’s first few days go well, until people start coming in complaining, and sometimes yelling, about how their drink ruined their day, making the do crazy things they’ve never done before.

Character A works as a professional cuddler and is very good at their job. They take off a month for personal time and vacationing, and when they get back to the job, they’ve gained a lot more than they realized. However, after just a few cuddling sessions with clients, Character A suddenly gets almost triple the amount of calls.

“I thought the Freshman 15 was a myth, but now I’ve gained the Freshman 30, and I didn’t know what to think. At least, I didn’t until you told me I looked a lot happier than I did a few months ago. You’re right, I am” AU

Character A has been steadily gaining weight for over a year, and soon finds that their once loose and comfortable clothes aren’t so loose anymore. However, after trying them all on, Character A realizes that they really like how the shirts and sweats are now filled out. Character A decides against buying new clothes.

“We used to be really close and snuggle while watching TV, but I haven’t seen you in a few months and I’m a lot bigger. I was nervous you wouldn’t want to snuggle anymore, but you didn’t even hesitate to plop us both down on the couch and bury your head in my stomach” AU

Character A is an actor that loves doing fight scenes in movies. However, after a break between films, they gain more weight than their manager is happy with. Despite everyone’s doubts, Character A gets in front of the camera and does the stunts even better than before, ensuring them the part in their next film.

Character A grew up in a house with two supernatural parents, and now Character A is going to a school that’s full of supernatural creatures, but they don’t know about it. 

In a world where displaying feelings such as love and despair is outlawed, Character A has become an expert at hiding their emotions. However, they can’t hide their shock when they stumble upon a group of rebels that openly display everything they feel without shame. 

Character A has always had an intense fear of the ocean. They grew up hearing stories of creatures that lured humans in and drowned them. Character B has always been fearful of the land. They were taught to be cautious of the humans, or risk being captured. One day, Character B gets caught in a net and calls out, drawing in Character A. They both must work through their distrust to get Character B free.

“I’ve lived in this lake since I was born, and I’m not going to let a bunch of landwalkers come take it over for the summer, even if you seem nice enough and- wow… really cute” AU

Character A is the only heir to the throne and is being pressured into finding royal suitor. Thing is, Character A doesn’t want to get married. So, to spite their parents, Character A seeks out the royal mermaid that frequents the shore. Their parents never said rhe suitor had to be human.

“Mermaids’ tails change color when they blush, but you don’t know that’s why it’s happening and so you keep stroking it in fascination, and so it keeps changing colors. I don’t know if I want you to stop or not” AU

It was rumored that a siren could only be drawn in by another siren if they were destined by fate to be together. Character A is a siren that traded their tail for legs years ago, but then hears a beautiful voice from the ocean, telling them to go back.

“You have to stay quiet, because the people of my village are on a hunt for you, but they have no idea that I’m hiding you in my bathtub. Thank god I live alone” AU

Character A comes from a long line of merfolk that can transform into humans, but they have to turn back about once a month, or else they get incredibly sick. Character A was busy with school and work and forgot about visiting the lake until they collapsed and woke in the hospital. Now they have to somehow convince the nurse to either let then go or take them to the lake.

Character A lives in a small town that doesn’t feel very positively about magic users, unlike the majority of the rest of the country. In order to spare themself them prejudice, Character A had been hiding their abilities their whole life, and now they’re about to leave the town. But then, only months from them leaving, Character A gets caught and cornered by a group of teenagers that want to challenge them to a fight- a fight that leaves the teens very injured, by accident of Character A.

“We’re in a training camp for soldiers to fight the mages, and you’ve been acting super suspiciously, so I’ve kept my eye on you. Yesterday, you somehow filled you’re cabin to the brim with water, which shouldn’t be possible, and for some reason I covered for you. Now you owe me” AU

Character A had a reputation for getting arrested for minor arson. Little does anyone know, what actually happens is that Character A gets a little overwhelmed sometimes and loses control of their spark.

“There are rumors that magic can be spread like a permanent virus, and I never believed it, but last night in the… heat of the moment… I thought your eyes turned a different color, and then you ran to the bathroom looking nervous. I thought nothing of it until I woke up this morning and my bed was two feet off the ground” AU

Character A is at a school event when they feel an unusual tugging in their gut. The lights shatter, people scream, and someone pulls Character A out of the room and into a smaller one, claiming that they know what Character A is, and offering to train them before any major damage happens.

“Look, I get that you’re old and experienced, but that doesn’t make you stable. Your magic has been out of control for years, which is why we put you in the institution. We knew you wouldn’t be happy, but that doesn’t mean you can just blast your way out” AU
