Flynn Oh is a twenty-four year old Hunter currently living in Dawnguard and working exclusively as a Hunter in the Hunter’s Guild.

Bio:

Flynn Oh was born in London, England, to two loving parents. He grew up well there, and was very close to his father, who happened to be a Hunter. Flynn showed much excitement at the prospect of becoming a hunter like his father was, and he followed his every move and tried to learn as much as he could. His father was proud of him, and knew he would one day become quite a good hunter- but things went down hill before such a day would be seen.

When Flynn turned seventeen his father was diagnosed with early onset dementia. He couldn’t hunt anymore, as much as he wanted to, and suddenly the family unit was in disarray. Flynn did his best to care for his father, to continue to work hard and help him stay in his work, but in the end there was nothing they could do and his mother made the decision to place his father in hospital care.

Flynn was devastated, even though he knew this was the only thing they could do. He visited his father every day for a year, but it was a painful experience each time. His father never remembered him, and he had to introduce himself again, and again, and again. When the year was over and he turned eighteen, he decided to move to the States to seek out further Hunter training. He couldn’t stand to be in England anymore, and even though he felt he was selfish, he knew he needed to get away for a time.

Upon arriving in America, he met a girl and in a whirlwind romance, he married her. Unfortunately, for Flynn, this was a way to deny his sexuality and he hoped to “fix himself”. Of course this didn’t work, and he came out to his wife on the same day that his wife found out she was pregnant from their honeymoon. Flynn and his wife amicably parted, with intentions to raise their child together even if they were apart, but Flynn still holds a lot of guilt and shame over that marriage.

Flynn is a happy father, however, and loves his son - who he aptly named Hunter -  but he still has aspirations to be the best hunter in Devil’s Watch, and perhaps eventually to lead the hunters himself. Being a good father and a good hunter go hand in and hand for him.

Currently he is 24 years old, and a well trained Hunter. He is living his father’s legacy, but he is often a loner.

B I O G R A P H Y:

Finley grew up afraid of commitment. He watched his parents marriage fall apart and found himself moving home several times, back and forth to the same old places. It meant he wasn't able to commit on rely or anything. Nothing ever lasted when he was a child or as a teenager. Because of that he prefers lust over love, it's not a conscious choice but commitment is something he doesn't want to face. He believes in lust over love and he would rather lust than ever to commit to something whatever that might be. 

After leaving home and finding his own way in the world he has made friends but he keeps them at arms length and instead of allowing them close he lusts after their friendship. He lusts after pretty girls and lusts after money. He will always chose lust because he's never been given any reason to chose love or commitment.
