to contradict my previous post, i am ALSO a big fan of serana siding with the dawnguard only to choose not to cure her vampirism because of indecisiveness or feeling paralysed or whatever and by the time she even considers the option everyone she already knew from the mortal world is already dead or at least very old and she just does not have it in her to start all over again for a third time so now she's just kinda lost and alone and this time it's definetly her own fault
big fan of serana getting her vampirism cured, not because i have anything against vampirism in particular but because if anyone in tamriel is going to match her freak it would have to be falion. This guy doesnt even dislike undead he just thinks they're interesting, so already not fighting any biases like the dawnguard. He is the biggest necromancy nerd in skyrim after serana and valerica themselves. If he hasnt discovered the soul cairn himself yet he would most definetly love to hear about it. He already has the skills of being able to navigate skyrim as an outcast (while still being kind to everyone) which serana clearly lacks and would benefit from. Plus he is already adoptive father to a (probably traumatised) daughter so whats one more.

a fun fact about the dawnguard is that you can sleep in isran's bed. other guilds will have, like, separate sleeping areas for specific members but the dawnguard makes is completely possible to just wander upstairs and have a nap in the exact same sheets where isran would if he didnt believe sleep was for the weak and i love that about it
