Okay ADHD friends (with their own spaces), I finally did what I've wanted to do for years and bought a robot vacuum. It's amazing!
I hate sweeping and vacuuming so I never do enough of it an my floors are always dirty.
So far I've had the vac for 3 days and I've vacuumed every day, my floors are so friggin clean!
Sure the vacuum requires that I pick up all the junk off the floor so that it has clear space to clean but if I run it every day I don't have to do that because the junk moves around so what areas it missed today it'll get tomorrow. I press go, it cleans my life is simpler!
Not only that but it's quite AF! Vacuuming is something I avoid because vacuums are noisy and my sensitivity to sounds can't fucking take it but robot vac is much quieter so I never hesitate to press go.
Now, I realize I'm speaking from a very PRIVILEGED place, I have extra money and so I could afford to buy this thing. So I understand if it's not a good tip for some of you because of financial issues. If however you have ADHD and you're wondering if this would be a good investment for you, YES, yes it would.
I bought mine a Yeedi K700 for $150 from ebay used. It's missing a remote but works fine without it and is half off from regular retail price. A robot vac means no worrying about sweeping or vacuuming which means 2 fewer chores on your to do list and 2 fewer things to feel guilty about not doing frequently enough.
