Hey Rock I got an idea for you on a future fic, one you probably haven't thought of, how about a RWBYxThe Witcher crossover? Jaune ends up in that world and travels around the world doing his Huntsmen duty there while looking out for Team RWBY and trying to find a way home, which shouldn't be too much of a problem since world hopping is common in that world. Hell, he can end up at Khar Moran and stay with Geralt and the other Witcher's until he can find his way back, this will of course take place during the games, when abouts is your choice, and in this world Jaune can probably unlock Aura here but he should only give it to the Witcher's since there basically this worlds equivalent to Huntsmen and in Ciris case Huntress. Speaking of which, Ciri is the most likely paring for Jaune, not Yennifer and Triss for obvious reasons, when all things are said and done Ciri can use her abilities to help Jaune find a way home, so what do you think?
Ok, you absolutely cooked with this one. I have thought of a Witcher crossover, but then I lost interest in the idea.
The idea is on a list of ideas for future fics, because I do love the games, and Ciri was for sure gonna be shipped with Jaune, I can just imagine the two dancing around their feelings.
I'll have to play the games again, but I can see an RWBYxWitcher crossover happening in the future of my writing for sure.
Plus, I just love the humor in the games. I can imagine Jaune actually kind of fitting right in the WitcherVerse.

One thing I love about Thronebreaker is that it shows you can show a woman lose her power in a misogynist dark fantasy world and still have a compelling story without showing her being tortured, assaulted, or sexualized. It's really refreshing to know there is a dark story with a female protagonist without those things.
In some ways, it's my favorite piece of Witcher media because it refuses to use the tired tropes the books and games did and still has the same themes; parent-child relationships, found family, the ole impossible choices 'between two evils' and an anti-imperialist message
