Clem: I miss you more

Clem had been pacing the living room for 30 minutes now. What could be taking her wife so long? She finally heard her come into the room and she turned around on her. “What the hell took you so long? Nevermind sit down.” she said, tugging her wife to sit down. 

“Mercedes wanted 3 books. Was I supposed to say no? And what is your deal. We have our tv shows recorded so I didn’t miss anything.” her wife replied. 

“No it’s not that. It’s something else. I have to tell you something. Wait don’t make that face it’s not that kind of something. It’s something great. Something amazing. Something it’s so good I can’t even beli-” she was shut up by a kiss to her lips, which she returned. Addison always knew how to stop her rambling. 

Clemenson, 20

Clem closed the hospital door behind her daughters. She had just told them to go get food in the cafe in the hospital. They hadn’t left their mothers side in hours, but Clem needed a minute alone. 

She walked over Addison’s side, holding back tears. “Okay babe, the girls are gone now.” she said softly, running her hand over Addison’s hair. She looked so peaceful, like she was asleep. If it wasn’t for the oxygen mask, and numerous bruises on her face, she would look like she was just sleeping. 

“It’s been 3 days now Addison. That’s the longest I’ve gone without hearing your voice. in over 15 years.” she told her wife, kissing her cheek. “I know its hard, and your body is in pain right now. I know you’re fighting hard right now for me. For the girls...But ...” she trailed off as she started to openly sob“You need to wake up because I can’t do this without you.”
