NSFW content is encouraged, provided the content creator is 18+. No minor will be permitted to work on an NSFW work, with no exceptions.

Non-con and pedophilia are FORBIDDEN.

    Writer Requirements

All stories must be AT LEAST 5,000 words, with no upper limit on word count.

Collaboration between writers is allowed, but an extra 2.5k words is required for each writer working on a story. I.E.: Two writers requires 7.5k, 3 writers requires 10k, and so on.

All works created for this event must be new stories. This means that you can not use a second chapter for a work if the first has already been published.

An unpublished WIP can be added to for this event, HOWEVER we require the original word count to be disclosed beforehand and for a minimum extra of 5k (or more, depending on number of writers) to be added.

Sequels to previous fics are allowed, so long as the first part is not required to understand the second.

Sequels to works that were not originally created by the participant are NOT allowed, even with permission from the original author.

Posting ANY portion of your final entry before the pre-ascribed positing date will result in IMMEDIATE disqualification.

All work must be completed by the due date, unless an extension is applied. Sequels are allowed providing they are self sufficient from the original works and are not extra chapters to tie loose ends.

    Artist Requirements

Artists will be given chances to claim the work of writers they wish to illustrate for. This form will contain summaries and excerpts of each available works as well as the ships, triggers, and warnings attributed to it. Claims will be anonymous.

Contact information will be given once all works are claimed.

All claims are first come, first serve.

If there is a disproportionate number of artists and writers, there will be multiple rounds of claims.

All art must be unique to this challenge. We ask that no art that has been previously shared or published be used.

Minimum Requirement for each artist: Every artist must complete at least one work for each team they are in. Teams with one artist will have a minimum of one art piece, while teams with multiple artists will have a minimum of one extra per additional artist. So a team with two artists will have two works of art created, and so on.

Any additional content created is up to the writer and artist(s).

Failure to meet these rules or minimum requirements will result in your content being disqualified and a BAN from any future event hosted by the moderators.

Lance was always really loud about who he idolized

for years and years he babbled about Shiro, the greatest pilot EVER

He had all the cool Shiro merch

Like we’re talking hoodies and posters and mugs and baseball caps

Especially trading cards. Every single reprint of Takashi Shirogane was lovingly tucked away in his card sleeves

His ‘obsession’ seemed like it was actually starting to get him somewhere when he got his acceptance letter from the Galaxy Garrison

Even though Keith kinda made it a bummer, Lance never failed to notice when his idol was watching over their simulations

This lead him to doing his absolute best to show his skill in an attempt to get Shiro’s attention

It never seemed to work though, since Shiro would always mollycoddle Keith and mostly ignore the other students

After Shiro leaves for Kerberos, Lance is kind of lost, still succeeding (if barely) in class but not putting out the effort that he used to

It’s not even fun to try and beat Keith’s scores anymore

The instructor notice his decreased performance and start talking about cutting him from the program

In steps Adam, who takes Lance under his wing for tutoring, since the instructors just think he isn’t getting the course material anymore

Lance’s fire is reignited

Because Oh. My. God.

This guy Adam is 1000% better than Shiro for many reasons

Adam takes time with all the students, not just one or two, though he takes extra time with Lance since he’s his tutor

He has a loud, happy laugh that is so infectious even Iverson smiles

IT TURNS OUT HE AND SHIRO WERE DATING OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT LANCE ISN’T SURE BUT OMG THAT’S SO COOL

Lance is amazed that he ever saw anything in Shiro when someone so much cooler was right beside him all along!

And then it happens

They get the news about the Kerberos mission

Suddenly Adam’s smiles and laughter are gone

He’s less enthused about the student’s performance, offering only clipped replies when asked for tips

He keeps tutoring lance, but it’s clear that something in him is just… gone

And Lance won’t stand for that.

He knows that the Adam he idolizes is still in there somewhere

Lance starts small, with little notes and pieces of candy that he sneaks into Adam’s work during their tutoring sessions.

After a while lance can see that its actually working!

Adam will find a note and smile as he's reading it or examine a candy before laughing and putting it in his pocket or eating it

Lance finds out that adds loves tootsie rolls because he'll immediately open then up and pop one into his mouth

Eventually he catches Lance, but he doesn't scold him

He smiles fondly and picks up the note

Lance is blushing like mad because the note says

“i literally might be falling in love wow you're amazing!”

With his little stars all around it it's hard for him to try and say its from someone else

Adam doesn't scold him though, just ruffles his hair and asks if he means it

Lance is awestruck that he's not getting chewed out, nodding and smiling like an idiot

The two end up blooming into a small relationship from their, with soft touches of the hand and quick pecks on the cheek when they're alone

They're doing really well when Shiro shows up

Lance knows that Adam would be thrilled if he brought Shiro home to him, even if it meant their relationship would end

Then they're out in Keith's dumb little shack and adds is miles away and probably worried sick and lance knows there's no way he can get back on his own

Suddenly they're in the cave with the blue lion and *lance actually made the barrier go down*

And then…. And then they're in space

And lance's hero is getting further and further away
