Implied smut, Mind possesion, deal, enemies to lovers, Adam is a bottom
Silly Adam had no idea what path he had gone along, following the snake in the garden. A victim of his own curiosity, too inquisitive for his own worst. “You will not certainly die,” the snake said. Oh my god, Adam wished he’d just died. He remembers everything all too well — all the words Lucifer said, how eccentric he was, how much pleading it took for Lucifer to agree to keep their altercation a secret. Not for free, of course — but it worked.
He took advantage of Adam’s naivety, made him dependent on that apple like on the most powerful drug, only to then turn around and run away with Lilith, insisting that “you were the one to wish our connection would stay secretive.” Oh fuck, oh god, oh hell.
There were no words to really describe how broken it made Adam feel. How angry a man was. But… it’s not like he would expect something less from a deal with Lucifer. Near to the only good thing to come out of this situation — the “people of God” who were trying their best to write down the Bible turned out to be utter idiots. They just thought Lucifer handed Adam a literal fruit.
The entertainment a man experienced reading it was… indescribable. Anything they could possibly get wrong, they got wrong — so when the black-haired man felt like having a couple laughs, he just reread it. It seemed like the hurricane of the situation stormed past a man. Even Lucifer himself seemed to forget about the deal they made — which was something next to a miracle.
Only to think about it was driving Adam crazy — he was essentially subscribed to the devil himself, having his body and mind in his possession. Adam was shaking just imagining it. Not a second of loneliness; about privacy one can practically forget! But the man turned out to be a lucky one…
«Unbelievable!» — Adam shook his head to snap out of the thought that drove him insane. Having a king of hell 24/7 in your head like a second voice of wisdom you’re not in control of… an agony.
«Sound hurrying!» — What. Where did this one come from…? Probably just a hallucination of a painfully familiar voice. In denial, the man fully decided to ignore this one, characterizing it as just yet another intrusive thought — probably nothing to worry about.
Adam jumped up from the chair in shock. “WHERE THE FUCK IS HE?!” But the voice — sounding like the one making it — was somewhere in the room, or otherwise very close to the man.
Adam turned around... looked under the desk he was sitting at, looked at his ceiling in the adrenaline rush.
“No. NO! THAT CAN’T BE!" — He can’t… after all these years just return now without any warning…
“Hi, handsome!” — the voice again. “You missed me?”
