Hi!! I'm so glad that you're interested still! I will confess that something happened on my end bts about a week or two ago and I feel really really anxious about continuing.
I promised a chapter in May for someone so we'll post then, but I'm not entirely sure what to do about what happened, so there's some oscillation for me. I think we still have three or four more chapters written? I'd like to post all of them eventually, and I think chem does too, I'll double check later
Will be Micah be more weirder in Ad Mortem? As in his acts with corpses and the delusions he has. Pairing with his even weirder love with Damian. He was hilarious consoling Dick during Damian’s funeral like, “yes, yes, what a shame..” or when he told Dick “sorry I can’t bring you to my other house because I have someone chained up in my basement” and Dick laughed about it.
I love Micah and Damian, and I miss them.
I mean within the first 90 pages he genuinely lets damian think he's kept children in the basement in a rotating cast to keep him scared and compliant so like. definitely

Wait so I’m a little confused lol😅 I sent an ask yesterday about ad mortem after the original anon asked about it, I don’t remember exactly what I said but it was basically just saying if u updated it that’d be awesome and i love that series as a whole, and I kinda have no idea what anyone is talking about now with putting it on hiatus and then the anon joking about a debt needing paid lol? I’m so sorry I’m not here everyday so I’m like. not up to date😭 I came into the executioner series way late and read the series almost back to back, I got here like literally last update I think so I’m just a little lost😭 I binged yours and chems other stuff too lol, so I’m also all over Endo and that series too, but my ask yesterday was meant in total love for ur writing and whatever I’m missing about the ad mortem series I am so sorry😵💫😵💫 again I’m not here everyday and when I saw that one anon ask about an update I just thought oh fun, I’ll tell them I’d love that too and I’m excited for the series, I didn’t mean it in a rushing type of way or anything if it came across that way and also am missing the entire context for the debt joke so😭😅

Anyways, how this actually went down is me and chem sat down with dinner after we were home and we were talking about ad mortem and whether or not we wanted to update, and chem told me she didn't want to and I was like "yeah! That's fine, is it a 'dont want to edit it thing or a don't want to engage with the story'" and we both realized that we didn't want asks, comments, or to even be told it existed right now 😂
This was after I made the intial post and long after you sent your ask. I then made the post expressing the desire to stop being asked about it, but I was attempting to make a joke about how getting asked after a fic constantly can become frustrating and occasionally makes me want to dump all the content I have and then label it discontinued.
It's kind of like when you post after a while and then get a surge of comments about how everyone thought the fic would never be updated again instead of commenting on the chapter's contents.
I am absolutely, 100% grateful and humbled by how excited everyone is for ad mortem. I am too!! But right now chem and I need a minute to not think about it lest we hit the "blow up the fic button" 😂
I'll post a snippet later though! I listened to the chapter at work yesterday and the steph Dami and Cass scene was really cute

Hi galaxy, I came to ask if you are considering dropping a prewritten chapter next month or in may for Ad mortem. Totally understand if you have no plans for it. I just really like the story and am excited to see what happens next.
