If there were enough conversations about Aylin and Isobel to begin with (I know, I know, I'll drop it – I know it's not a constructive place for discussion), there could be discussions about the implicit bias to assume (lawful) good character don't have room for – to stay within the archetypes – darkness and flaws, all the while keeping their values. BG3, to its credit, turns it on its head quite immediately – Aylin's unnerving if deserved violence, Isobel's snark against a reality that truly leaves nothing to look forward to...
