Meet the Master of the Mimic--The Mockingbird! He is CONSTANTLY singing, especially at night; Is VERY territorial; And is an Omnivorous Bird in MANY of the US States--- It is actually the State Bird of FIVE States (Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee). Have you ever heard 10 or 15 DIFFERENT Birds singing outside in an ENDLESS String?! You probably didn't/don't ACTUALLY have SEVERAL Bird Species singing, BUT INSTEAD a Master Mimic singing all of their Songs himself.

DID YOU KNOW… In the 19th Century People appreciated the Mockingbird and their, ALOMOST 200 Songs, so MUCH that they were Sold (for as MUCH as $50) and kept in Cages---The birds nearly vanished due to people trapping them!

Today I tried something a little different while editing a few Photos left over from the Corbett Site last week… I had a few Photos that didn't turn out QUITE well enough to use (as normal), but not NOT well enough to TOSS; SO… THIS is what I designed, layering them with Photos of the SAME Subject that DID turn out well enough for use— What do you think?! I ALMOST missed this TINY Misumenops Bellulus Spider sitting on the Leavenworth's Tickseed Flower that I was Photographing--- As soon as I saw this Little Dream Weaver, I moved a few Flowers down to make sure I Captured its BEAUTY!

Ants are Strong, Social, Insects with NO Lungs, OR Ears- Instead they communicate and hear through Scent, Touch, Chemical Signals, as well as Vibrations. They also have TWO Stomachs- ONE to Digest THEIR Food and the OTHER to store food for the COLONY!
