Wow, I saw this gown and immediately thought of Feyre and her transformation from the Spring Court to the Night Court.

Being an ACOA who hasn’t chosen to be sober feels really crap sometimes
Other ACOAs I meet and even one of my siblings who are now sober, T-total, abstaining whatever term they prefer seem to look down on me. I’m not drinking everyday, or even every week, about once or twice a month I hang out with my friends and drink wine, or get a long island iced tea while at a gig or seeing a show. I know my limits, it’s rare I’m more than tipsy. I’m happy to never discuss alcohol consumption, but it’s frustrating that others want to decide I’ll become my father if I don’t completely abstain from something I can enjoy/indulge in sometimes?
I’ve made an active effort to understand when and what I shouldn’t drink. Shots make me miserable, so I don’t do them. I don’t drink when I’m anxious or in a bad mood, because even if it gives me a slight reprieve I know it makes me feel worse later.
I totally understand fearing forming the same addiction, or acknowledging you don’t enjoy it, but looking down on someone who knows how harmful it can be and puts effort into harm reduction for themselves and others seems just shitty and mean-spirited. I never try to convince others they should drink, so why do they think they have the right to tell me what I should or shouldn’t do?
