Feeling angry and relieved.
9 months ago I injured my knee twisting it playing football. I was told that it was probably just bruising and have been in physio ever since.
Today I was told by a new consultant that he is 90% sure it's my ACL and will be receiving a letter for an MRI within 3 weeks.
I'm relieved that I finally have answers but angry that it's taken so long.
It feels so good to go from two crutches to one crutch. Here I am easing around the house with one crutch and it's only been 12 days since surgery! Small victories ❤️🎉🎉🎉🎉
My procedure for my acl repair was November 26, 2019. Today is January 6, 2020.
My progress isn't as fast as my surgeon would like. However seeing as how I've only been in physical therapy since December 12...I will take this bend as a win!
2020 will be a year of growth if it kills me.
