Mayday! Mayday! I have auditions coming up for Elmer Rice’s “The Adding Machine” and I have my heart set on playing Daisy. I love her character and I want to play her some badly. The monologue I picked is suiting for her so that could be good. I am trying not to get my hopes up.This could get messy

Researching Creative Practice
Today was the deadline for the essay, so it was quite a relief to hand that in. We had a lecture on Textual Analysis, in which I learned that textual analysis is not one specific thing, it's an umbrella term for many things, and we focused on semiotics specifically.
We then had a seminar with David where we began talking about our research proposals.
Acting and Directing
David did a workshop with us on Brecht, which led onto us getting our scripts and reading through the first scene of Mother Courage - it was very exciting.
