no but seriously what does that anon what us to do, hate ourselves for who we are? should i sit in silence and shame and not talk about it? heck no! i love myself. people are so shocked when they see people with mental illnesses celebrating ourselves. we're not even human to them, after all, and seeing us being whole and dynamic and diverse causes them intense cognitive dissonance. they can't keep dehumanizing us if we're whole. so they dismiss our self-love as "harmful." oh, irony of ironies.
honestly. it makes people SO uncomfy to see neurodivergent folk having a good time and loving themselves. on one hand i kind of revel in it knowing im better than them. on the other hand, i wish they would Chill.
