#ace jumin

Honestly, I read him as Ace from the moment that I interacted with him. It never even occurred to me to see him differently than that, but I was blatantly ignoring the people who treat him like his bad ending is kinky and great when it’s not, it is right there in the title, BAD ENDING. If you would like to partake in kinky things with your partner that’s fine, but, don’t act like that’s all that Jumin is and all that you like about him. 

He’s a funny guy, his point of humor is never respected. I’d love to talk with him because he loves conversations and he gets more of a thrill out of being able to drink in the living room next to the fireplace while you talk about the semantics of the world. He has so many hobbies and passions that people never talk about, either! 

That’s valid! I personally headcanon Jumin as Ace, but I can agree that Demi is a valid headcanon. I’ve mentioned my HC before, of course, that was months ago and I got some hate for it. I feel like no matter how you view Jumin, he is definitely somebody that takes a while to have feelings for another person in a romantic light. 

He is a methodical person, and he approaches everything with caution, looking at all of the options and everything that could come to play before he even toys with the idea of a relationship. It’s hardly ever struck him that attraction was a thing because he just felt nothing but disgust towards most romantic acts—

I really don’t like the fact that people think that they have an ownership over somebody else’s body, and it really rubs me the wrong way when somebody acts like being Asexual or on the ace spectrum is a wrong or bad thing. There is more to loving somebody then having intercourse with them. I struggle to understand sometimes why people feel as if that’s the defining factor to if someone loves you. Do they not know the depth of simply cuddling with somebody or holding hands?

I identify as Pansexual, but so many of the people I love dearly and that are close to me are on the ace spectrum. My best friend is Aroace, and my partner is very much Demi. So when I start to receive ignorant comments or blatant acephobia, it makes me very sick to my stomach. 

I understood right off the bat when I started to get hate messages not long after that, that it was people who were so thirsty for him and immediately took it as an insult to themselves and their fantasy. I was just trying to share an opinion of mine and at no point did I ever tell anyone that they couldn’t think otherwise, and it’s a reminder when people post on things that aren’t even meant for them in the first place, their sense of entitlement is so vast and acephobia still exists today because of that and other distorted thoughts. 

It’s a damn shame that Aces have to deal with this. If any of my followers are Ace, Aromantic, etc, please know that I’m here if you need somebody to talk to at any time. This blog is a loving and caring place. I will not stand for bigotry, and I will defend anyone and care for anyone who needs it. Acephobes, Terfs, all the other bigots, they aren’t allowed here and should show themselves to the door right the hell now if they’re reading this. I’m not going to stop HCing Jumin as Asexual, and I will continue to stand by that point no matter what.
