I keep liking posts about Project Hail Mary because I think the art’s nice and I like the designs of those Eridian guys
But like, I haven’t seen the movie, I think the most I’ve seen is an early trailer months ago. I don’t know the context for anything
I know there’s a teacher in space named Ryland Grace, and there’s rock alien guys with the main one called Rocky. I understand there’s another Eridian called Adrian who is either confirmed or implied to be Rocky’s mate, and that the Eridians have distinct speech patterns. And Rocky’s been in space for 40+ years?
But like, why did they send a teacher to space? What was happening on Earth? What’s the plot with Grace and Rocky and all the Eridians? Does contact with the Eridians help save Earth? Why was Rocky in space for 40+ years? Is Adrian in the actual movie or not?
I don’t actually know what’s happening. But I keep liking the posts which makes more show up on my For You page, so I just have to go like this and accept what’s happening
