I keep liking posts about Project Hail Mary because I think the artβs nice and I like the designs of those Eridian guys
But like, I havenβt seen the movie, I think the most Iβve seen is an early trailer months ago. I donβt know the context for anything
I know thereβs a teacher in space named Ryland Grace, and thereβs rock alien guys with the main one called Rocky. I understand thereβs another Eridian called Adrian who is either confirmed or implied to be Rockyβs mate, and that the Eridians have distinct speech patterns. And Rockyβs been in space for 40+ years?
But like, why did they send a teacher to space? What was happening on Earth? Whatβs the plot with Grace and Rocky and all the Eridians? Does contact with the Eridians help save Earth? Why was Rocky in space for 40+ years? Is Adrian in the actual movie or not?
I donβt actually know whatβs happening. But I keep liking the posts which makes more show up on my For You page, so I just have to go like this and accept whatβs happening
