The Amazing Digital Ocs Announcement
I have changed a bunch of stuff regarding one of the characters in the roster. He's not there anymore.
The creator of prickley had expressed they don't feel they want the character in this story, for reasons I won't say here. I will respect these wishes.
Although they were glad I had considered them, it wasn't going to work out. Wich is fine. There is no bad vibes between us.
Given that I had already completed the writing (just needed to draw up art for each chapter) I had to take a bit of hiatus to fix sum stuff.
Without prickley, it left some plot holes later in the story I needed to fill or change. I did a bit of both.
By adding a new character in prickleys place. A oc of a friend of mine named Cameron, who fits almost perfectly.
We had decided to give him the role of cactinas older brother.
To be clear: Cameron is not a complete replacement of prickley. He is uniquely his own character. With his own plot pieces to add to the story. I still have to change things. It is still a process. He is not just "prickleys replacement "
Although they do hold a few similarities to prickley. Such as the way they both speak, this is a seperate and completly diffrent character. In fact, the way they speak was part of the reason I had considered them. For plot reasons that would involve spoilers.
I suggest going back to re read the chapters you have completed before this change.
If you are reading this, I've already changed everything. It took a minute but I should be back on track to publishing new chapters.
Consider this post a memorial to prickley. He will no longer be part of the story from here on. A honorable discharge.
