#accent talks

I'm French and my mother is from North of France and my father from Central France, I've always lived in Provence and my accent is really weird. I have some South ways of talking but also Nordic and Central French accents. I don't mind because it makes me unique in that way lol I read you're going abroad, may I ask where? I'm going to London for the year and I'm becoming really nervous haha

i'm from eastern mass and have an accent and now live in arizona and i find this whole conversation very entertaining lmao my friends like my accent and tease me about it when it occasionally comes out and i've never rlly met anyone who was bothered by it??

I inherited my dad's Long Island, New York accent, but lived half my life in Southern California, and the other half in North Carolina/Georgia. No one ever knows where I'm from, my accent is a geographic anomaly.

Same goes with Jersey accents. Especially after Jersey shore my accent has been the butt of many jokes. People are idiots over here.

I think it kinda had to do with ethnicity as well? Like, a lot of white people have a twang in their accent compared to my voice/other non-white people. I'm Hispanic, and idk what someone would say I speak like. But yeah, most farms are in northern Texas whereas a lot of the big cities are in/towards the south.
