Daily Tarot Card Pull Journal: King of Cups
Keywords: emotional maturity; emotional regulation; self-expression
This card reminds me of... An older person who's calm and emotionally mature. Because of the waters around him, he reminds me of Poseidon, however I don't know much about Poseidon yet.
What jumps out for me most about this card is...
the fish on the left side, and the ship on his right side. The king facing the right side, east tells me that he can regulate emotional turbulences, and situations that can often cause stress, anxiety, depression, and unwanted emotions. Because his emotions are in check, he's can redirect most of his focus and energy towards working on building/maintaining his finances.
fish amulet around his neck. Apparently, it symbolizes his creativity
the water/ocean around him are turbulent and shaded in green *and *blue. Since his cape and clothes are also the color of the water, green and blue, it tells me this person is again attune with their emotions and psyche. Even under stressful events, he can stay on top and not drown in his emotions.
green: the color of wealth and abundance, as well as growth
blue: the color of water, emotions, trust and deep spiritual purpose
With these two colors in a body of water, it's showing the stability yet adaptability to changes in life, and the ability to grow and understand at a great emotional depth.
His stern face. Financially, this card is about someone unmoved by money difficulties. This card is someone secure in their earnings, and doesn't impulsively use their money. Their wealth is like the body of water, naturally flowing in and abundant like the ocean. Contrasting to the water that is not calm, his face is at peace. This represents the ability to emotional regulate in difficult situations.
In realms of finance, the king is master of his emotions and feelings, as well as uplifting the mood of people he leads. This person is able to get through anxious, angry, and people distracted by their emotions. He can guide people how to get attune with one's own emotions to navigate finance. The ship in the back suggests that with his intuitive knowing of economics and "psychology" of money, he's able to use it to bring abundance.
