Felix work is about the topic of “coming-out”. He collected the coming-out experience of 43 people and created a composition for each one based on his research. These compositions were created with the cyanotype (fine printing process), whereby various reference objects, gradients and water were applied to previously treated, light-intensive paper and exposed to sunlight for different lengths of time.

On the occasion of it´s 100th anniversary, Lisa dedicates a typeface to the Bauhaus. Therefor she uses the square as one of the basic forms of Bauhaus aesthetics and the associated basic colors as well as the non-color black. The famous weaving works by Bauhaus-women are represented by the interwoven letters.

Christoph reconstructed the gender performance, which he perceived in the novel “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margret Atwood: He marked all elements describing the body and got rid of everything else, to capture the essence of the body perception. The reader experiences now solely body perceptions with which he inevitably identifies. In addition to the typographic work, Christoph scanned body parts which cannot be identified with a gender. Both, text and images, create discomfort. 

This work is about the so-called "wave of refugees". The term itself conceals the actual numbers of refugees who are being admitted into other countries and how many are staying there for real. Five posters show the population of the states of Europe, North America, Canada and Turkey and relate them to the actual amount of admitted refugees.The fifth poster acts as a contrast and shows an actually dramatic „wave of refugees“.

Ramona's analyzed for her project in the course information graphics three different fashion suppliers as examples to show how much the clothing industry's range for women and men differs in terms of quality and quantity of clothing.

Aileen's work is based on the cooking process of green sauce  by her grandmother. She created graphic elements for the famous seven herbs and combined them with typographic elements. Since green sauce is a Hessian specialty, the typographic elements are based on the Hessian dialect.

From nature to abstraction -  a systematic visual analysis of the pomegranate based on the movie „The Color of Pomegranate.“ 

By warping the appearance of a form itself, Eric tried to create new in-between spaces of guessing, questioning and doubting of what viewers are perceiving.
