Anon is back with an answer/question for my ask about accepting Locus as canon! For swiggle-muffin, I believe the DLC comes after Syndicate, probably not that long after, and they could have still left in 1969. For you, do you think, canon or not, that they will mention Jacob's wife or someone of romantic interest to him somewhere in the comic?

To be honest, anon, I am not quite sure…I mean, Ubisoft isapparently far from blind of what goes on with tumblr and same for the voiceactors! They might be afraid to list an actual wife or love interest for Jacobin fear people may not like her on impulse. I mean, I will be straight honest: Ido want Jacob to be happy, but at the same time, him settling down at a youngage just felt far from him giving his personality, so his son being born fromwedlock might not be far from a canon thought or truth. Also, I would be a bitpicky about what woman I’d want to see him with. I feel like such a mother tohim that I want the woman to be perfect, and let’s be honest—no woman will bein my eyes. :P
If they DO decide to do something like that, I want to getto know the woman from the very start. This was a reason I had a hard timeliking Nellie with him—she just came out of nowhere and didn’t even seem allthat concerned with Jacob’s wellbeing when he went missing. Sure, he cared forher safety, but Nellie didn’t seem to do anything but gasp and be jerked aroundby the brothel. How can I support that sort of pairing if I don’t see much ofwhat may have happened before? D:
But on the other hand, he does seem to desire love and orrespect from an older woman or man given his growing up, so for all I know, hemay have actually settled down. If Ubisoft does write this out, I just want tobe content with it. ♥
Will they mention it? Don’t know. They mentioned Shay gotmarried or had a son with somebody, but once again—they don’t want to come outand say. I think they want their fanbase to fill in the blanks, and I feelhappy with that. ;)
