@abrastcne needs a little liberation.
When it comes to fables of the undead and their reigns of terror, Kai has never thought them to be any more than just that. Stories. Tales that are made up in order to play upon a grand fear of most humans; that we are not alone, and can be manipulated by those on a different plane of existence. We feel this is something he would use to prey upon another, but he’s never once witnessed something himself to convert a logical mind into a believer. Perhaps it’s time that someone shows him. The ground beneath him begins to shake inside that coffee house, fingers gripping firmly to the counter top instinctively to find stability; this is fucking Michigan..earthquakes do NOT happen here! Peering around him, morons start to flee, only resulting in a domino effect of toppling bodies that he can’t help but to find amusement in. Lifting his head up from beneath the shelter of his arms, he’ll venture a look around---finding the only person that seems to have her wits about her is a girl sitting alone in a booth. Can’t help but to stare inquisitively, stricken giddy by the absence of fear, as though she’s lived through these her entire life, unfazed. No words at first. Just a little lift of that arched brow, ignoring the cries of woe from around them. “Your nose is bleeding.”
