auree is one of like a 27 person family technically because 1) her species reproduces very rarely but when they do they pop out like 9 kids over the course of like a year its very weird and 2) their typical family models are less like “a mom a dad and a kid” and more like “a mom a dad another dad two aunts seven uncles and thirteen kids except none of these figures actually have genders”

tldr she has so much family and she loves and treasures them very much. even tho she’s not actually the youngest, shes regarded as the baby of the family and her folks were pretty protective of her when she was li’l

Yikes! I remember my mother mentioned receiving some white supremacist brochures shortly after we (an interracial family) moved into our current neighborhood. It was when I was a child so she never talked about it until recently, but I’m always somehow surprised about how racist people can be.

I did come out to my sister (it went really well) but I still have to come out to my parents so these are still welcome! thank you, I'm happy it went well 💖
