It was late. Incredibly late, actually. And he had noticed as he strolled down the darkened streets that most places were closed. Aside from a few bars and strip clubs in the center of the city, he was sure. Still, despite that, he found himself heading in the direction of Yuugi’s game shop.

“uuhh…. we’re the same height though?”

Ryou stopped dead on the street when he saw the characteristic bright coloured hair. His hand clenched on the strap of his heavy backpack and he hesitated. He had no real reason to avoid Yugi, he was always as friendly as could be. It simply hadn’t been one of Ryou’s better days.

In the end he waited too long, embarrassed from other pedestrians having to walk around him he jolted forward a step and then resumed walking in Yugi’s direction as though he’d never stopped.

41: Have you ever wanted to tell someone something but didn’t?

Yes. But I think you should tell people what they need to hear, not just what you want to say. There are a lot of things I wish I’d told people, or I want to say but can’t. That’s .. very human. Isn’t it.

39: Do you get stressed out easily?

*grumbles* Yes. But I have a lot of stresses that add up. If I lived a less complicated life maybe I’d be better at handling it.

Yes. They are grey with blue on the toes. You’re supposed to wear socks with your shoes.

Hmm. I want to go swimming again. Deep in the ocean where it’s black. But it’s dangerous and takes too much time to go, Thief might want me.

24: Are you good at hiding your feelings?

I think I am good. I had to be when I was younger, and now .. well Thief doesn’t seem to notice when I am genuinely hiding my emotions from him. You just turn them off and show the ones you want them to see instead.

17: What were you doing at 12:30 this afternoon?

... *grins vindictively* I was mugging a Yugi. I haven’t done it for a while, it was quaint.
