Some colors come with physical mutations. As seen in the examples, a Crystal Wispraptor will have pointy gems extruding from its face and nape. A Crested Wispraptor will have a crest of feathers on its head.
One way to collect gold, eggs and other items is by completing missions. NPCs will have a number of requests for you to fulfill. You will need to gather supplies and travel to the designated location in an Oregon trail-like simulator. You may find treasures, wandering monsters, or other surprises along the way. But be cautious! Some surprises may be dangerous and inhibit your progress. Deciding on which resources to bring is vital. You have a limited carrying capacity, so choose very carefully!
These stats can be found on your monster’s character profile. The starting stats depend on the monster’s trait and can be raised with rare items called Poppies.
Charisma effects the character's ability to attract merchants, pacify enemies, and persuade wandering monsters to join your ranch.
Endurance determines how much energy you have, as well as how well you resist injuries, disease and curses.
Magic effects the character's ability to use mana to fight off enemies, escape traps, and discover hidden areas.
Gold is the in-game currency used to buy items from the shop or merchants you find during missions.
Food replenishes your monster's energy during missions. It's also important for feeding impoverished communities in your world.
Herbs are important for curing disease and recovering health. It's also important for eliminating plagues that may pose a threat to the communities in your world.
Mana is a slightly rarer resource, but you need it to use the magic skills of your monsters.
All of these things can be collected by Gathering Resources, another aspect of the game that will be covered next.
Each creature you collect will be placed in your ranch. Every player starts with two ranches and upgrades can be purchased with in-game currency. Each ranch can hold four monsters at a time and can be decorated with a variety of items found during play.
On the ranch screen, tapping on one of your monsters will initiate a short dialogue from them. You can rename your ranch, organize your monsters, or examine your monster's profile by tapping their name. Once in a while, a heart will appear above two monster's heads. If you tap on it they will ask you if they can use a nest. If you approve, they will occupy a nest and an egg will appear in a few days time.
The second screen monster's profile. Here you can view all of their information, including; their name, level, gender, rarity, sprite, species, color, trait, and stats.
Their name can be changed by tapping on it. They can be released (permanently deleted) by tapping on the corresponding button. They can also be moved to a different ranch.
Each player begins with two nests, and more can be purchased with in-game currency.
Incubators are special items that can be an easy way to hatch eggs. The red incubator will hatch an egg in 10 hours, while the gold incubator will hatch an egg in 5. Each of them can be purchased in the shop.

There are currently seven explorable areas in the world of Wisteria. In each of them there is a designated NPC as well as unique events, items, eggs and monsters to discover. Completing missions for the NPCs is the best way to get rewards and experience for your monsters.
The Royal Ambassador of Thepoa Kingdom may come to you with missions from time to time. These are the easiest quests to complete and are often rewarded with gold.
A large farming village outside the walls of Thepoa Kingdom is stricken with poverty. The village’s shepherd may come to you with missions to help cure illnesses or pay taxes. Without much else to give, the villagers offer rewards of common eggs and decorative items. The village and the kingdom seem to be the only human communities in Wisteria.
The forest is the home of most Swirlfoxes, a humble monster with a valiant instinct to use their magic for good. The forest is plagued with human bandits and rogue monsters. Fal may ask for help defending the residents of the forest in exchange for gold and uncommon eggs.
Busby takes credit for the creation of the beach and is quite adamant about protecting it from destruction. Although there never seems to be a threat to the beach, Busby will reward you for help with menial tasks anyway. Perhaps they are just lonely.
Ja, a self-proclaimed guardian of the endangered species that lives on the ocean floor, will eagerly reward you for daily supplies of herbs. Only monsters that can swim and breathe under water will be able to complete these missions.
A mysterious band of humans are hunting Skydogs for their silky feathers and pelts. Worried for her children’s safety, Nineve will recruit you for help. Mt. Rift is a treacherous territory. It can be a challenge even for higher level monsters.
This area is only available to monsters at level 30 or higher. Helliat does not need you for missions but is a great source of knowledge and wisdom. He may allow you to recruit him into your sanctuary if you visit him enough.
