What does your OC normally wear? What would they wear for a special night?

Answering for Modern AU. Alec usually wears band t-shirts, jeans and boots. Li Na wears capri pants, loose t-shirts or plaid shirts or tank tops. They both put comfort and price (cheap!) before style. Skyler, on the other hand, is all about style. They like fancy looking clothes and famous brands.

And the Muses of Art have granted me the will to sketch what they would wear for a dinner date in mid-Autumn. 💕

What are some things your OC admires about his/her soulmate?

“Soulmate” is a stretch, as ultimately I know Alec and Sky aren’t end game for each other, even in world states neither dies. So I can’t really answer for Alec or Alistair. I have yet to find a soulmate for Sky. But they’re both dorky? That’s definitely a huge thing.

What kind of sense of humor does your OC have?

Skyler will laugh at everything and anything. Someone farted in class? Skyler is snorting. Funny video of a cat failing to jump over the counter? Sky is rolling! Someone tripped? They’re covering their mouth not to let them see them chuckling. Even mean jokes – They’ll laugh, and then feel guilty af about it.

What is your OC’s favorite sweet?

Ooh. Sky has a sweet tooth, so it’s hard not to please them with sweets, but I’d say something with caramel.

What is your OC’s imagination like?

Suffice it to say you wouldn’t want to participate in one of Alec’s daydreams in which he saves the day flawlessly and everyone drinks to his achievements and praise him, and … it’s ridiculous, really.

What are some habits your OC has picked up?

Alec picks up the habit of shoplifting from Zevran and @madamsnark‘s Kallian Tabris. XD Or at the very list, checking stores for cameras and things like that, y’know? Also sometimes using yes/no as tag questions like Zev does.

What is your OC’s favorite time of day?

Mornings, the fucking lunatic. XD

What is the color of your OC’s eyes/hair/skin? 

Alec has apple green eyes, copper hair and fair/purple-tones freckled skin.Li Na has dark brown eyes, black hair, and fair/yellow-tones skin.Skyler has blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. 

How tall is your OC?

Alec and Sky are the same height, at 1.80m in modern au. Li Na is about 1.65m. As for canon, who knows??? Alec is some 10cm taller than Zev, is all I know.

What is a noticeable physical attribute of your OC?

Ha ha... Alec’s lankiness and ginger hair. Skyler’s height and pretty wavy hair, Li Na’s vallaslin and intense eyes.

What is one word you would use to describe your OC’s appearances?

Alec “carrot”; Skyler “elegant”; Li Na “pretty.”

Does your OC have any markings, such as a birthmark or a scar?

Sky has several birth marks, and Alec has bunches of freckles. Li Na has lots of scars on her body, none on her face except for the Vallaslin.

How does your OC talk/what does your OC’s voice sound like?

I hc Alec’s voice as James Bay’s talking voice & accent.Skyler’s is Riley J. Dennis’s. And Li Na’s... Well, I haven’t found the right voice yet, but Katie Leung’s comes pretty darn close (especially the accent). 

What is your OC’s favorite scent?

Alec (from Wayward Heart, chapter 4): “For me, it’s… Molded books. The sort that makes you sneeze and want to die. Yellowy, old and crumbling books. With a tint, faint scent of Lyrium dust from a failed attempt to preserve it.”

Skyler: “Lemongrass tea. It is a soothing smell, and it reminds me of this seasons garden back home, and teas my father would brew. I cannot recall the garden too well, as I was very young, but lemongrass was something we were allowed to grow in the Circle, and that smell just blended with the memories.”

Li Na: “I would say the smell of nature, but that is truly hard to define. Perhaps, then... the smell of a boiling stew by the campfire? Mixed with wet soil from yesterday’s rain.”

What is your OC’s favorite sound?

Alec’s I’ll answer for modern! XD The sound of a weeping guitar, like this.  

Skyler’s is group laughter. When everyone cracks up and is almost crying from laughing, and some dissolve into snorts or failed attempts at restarting conversation.

Li Na’s is the sound of a waterfall, or rain outside the aravel/her window.

When she was only 6 years old, Luckie had a bad nightmare and walked into her older brother’s room only to find their father raping him and her mother watching. She tried to get away when her brother yelled at her to run, but her father grabbed her before she could get out of the room. He made her brother rape her and that was the breaking point. After that night, Luckie and her brother, James, couldn’t handle it anymore. They killed their parents. When she and her brother killed their parents, they burned down the house. They both thought the other had grabbed their baby brother, Sky, and when neither of them had him they freaked out but couldn’t get back in so they thought he had died in the fire too.

12 years later, Sky goes looking for his family and finds only Luckie. Apparently, when the firemen got to their burning house, one of them went into the house and found Sky crying in his crib. (He was 3 at the time.) He has spent the last 13 years in foster home after foster home. He is now 17 and has permission from the state to be on his own, but only if he can find a blood relative.
