✒︎   When cold seasons begin Farris sits down and knits herself a wooly sweater. They are kind of shapeless and feature a patchwork of different techniques and patterns, but they are warm and she doesn’t mind wearing them in public. So far she owns eight such sweaters, ninth is in the making.

✒︎  In her late teens Farris’ been experimenting with colors and hairstyles. At 18 years old she had an unpleasant accident with a candle that left her with only half of her very short strawberry blonde hair, and she shaved her head. Never messed with her hair since. It took her ten years to grow it as long as it is now.

✒︎  If she can go barefoot, expect her to be barefoot.

Offer to rub her feet when she seems tired. Farris feels most comfortable when walking barefoot - something she picked up from the Dalish and it just kind of stuck with her. She worked out some spells to keep them from freezing or getting hurt too much, but they are still sore at the end of the day. She might or might not let you touch them, but she will appreciate the offer nonetheless.

She very much likes to read. Offer to give her something interesting to read, give her a name of a good writer, talk with her about something she read about.

Tell her stories. She rather enjoys Varric’s tales, but will listen even more intently if you choose to tell her something about your life, be it the story of how you ate your first potatoes or how you slaughtered a village out of spite, as long as she believes they’re honest, you have her full attention.

Farris likes shiny things. Give her shiny things.

She also likes powerful things. Give her powerful things.

The mage picked up pranking people from Sera. When she does pull a prank on you she will always blame Sera, even if you catch her red-handed. You too should blame Sera. Even if you happen to be Sera.

Farris likes to watch people, taking notice of how they move, how they dress, what they say. She especially likes watching people shirtless. Engage in some physical activities without your shirtwith a your favorite training dummy - she will contemplate the way your muscles flex under your skin for hours.

Farris: No.

Inquisitor: But you speak Elven.

Farris: I also braid my hair. Is there a point to this?

Inquisitor: I'm just surprised.

Farris: I spent three years at a Dalish Camp, I was bound to learn something.

Inquisitor: I didn't know about that. Was it difficult to learn?

Farris: [sighs] I've been taken in by the Keeper who took pity on a dirty orphan. The clan objected. I heard them talking behind my back, and was desperate to know what they were saying. So I listened. And I learned. It got easier with time.

Inquisitor: I'm sorry, but... You were desperate? The Dalish speak the common tongue, do they not? You could communicate.

Farris: I've found that everyone says more when they think you're not listening. And I like to know what people think of me. Honesty is not easy to come by.

✒︎ To conceal her true emotions better Eriu doesn’t use swear words.

✒︎ Farris does not care to fold her clothes. She can hang them on the hangers any time, but each and every shelf features a tangle-bundle of clothing that she has to fight every time she changes.

✒︎ Mora doesn’t like gossip and doesn’t appreciate being talked about behind her back. Doesn’t matter if it’s something innocent, like ‘x told me you looked lovely in that sweater’, or something serious she really needs to know, if it comes up in a conversation she will get really anxious and possibly flee the scene on the pretense of trimming the flamingos.

✒︎ If Farris was introduced to Skyrim she would start and finish the game in one sitting. It would cost her many a sleepless night, she’d lose a few pounds, and resurface the outside world some few weeks later as a happier woman.

✒︎ Farris doesn’t shave her armpits, legs, or russian forest. If it’s there, it serves a purpose. Fortunately for her, her leg hair is lighter than the rest of her body for some reason.

✒︎ Mora’s sculpted a couple of flamingos out of bushes in the backyard. She dresses them up accordingly for the season. At the moment they are cosplaying as Wirt, Greg, and a zombie geisha.

✒︎ Mora’s room hides an insane amount of handcrafted pillows.

✒︎ Farris is a shameless flirt, and the more blushes she causes the more smug she is. If ignored she’ll take that as an offence and triple her efforts, but once she finally wins the attention she’ll lose interest.

✒︎ She has a really hard time opening jars. One of her cupboards is stocked with pickled vegetables she just can’t get to. She gives them away at any given occassion.
