Ten facts about my room

It is rarely clean.

It is currently clean.

I have the master bedroom.

It has a walk-in closet.

and a built-in vanity with a sink.

I have a desk with an office chair.

There are two bookcases.

There are two windows.

It is carpeted.

I keep a lot of stuff under the bed that I should probably throw away, but I know I'll need it as soon as I do.

Seven facts about my childhood

It was a long time ago.

I grew up in Iowa and Kansas, but I never worked on a farm.

My favourite cartoon was Jem. It was truly outrageous.

I went to camp pretty much every summer.

The first movie I remember seeing in the theatre was Snow White.

The first movie I remember friends asking me to go see was Dirty Dancing. (For the record, my parents said no. I was eight.)

I got an allowance from my parents every Saturday, of which 50 cents was mine to spend. Pretty much every Friday, I'd walk or ride my bike down to the local convenience store and buy some candy. (Because what else do kids do with allowance?) 

Three facts about my personality

I'm exceptionally persuasive. I can pretty much talk you into doing anything. Luckily for the universe, I use this power for good. Most of the time.

I'm a born fangirl. I'm the kind of person who is either completely and utterly obsessed with something and absolutely disinterested. (There is a middle ground, but very few things land there.)

S - Song i last sung?

"Les Poissons" from The Little Mermaid soundtrack. "First I pound ze fish flat with a mallet!"

W - Which celebrity i’d marry?

Oh man. Outside of the fact that he'd be horribly disappointed in my lack of interest in tennis, I think Tom Hiddleston and I would at least be good friends. I can't really say anything regarding marriage, since I don't actually know any celebs. 

Z - Zodiac sign?

This is the dawningof the Age of Aquarius...

I'm not actually narcissistic.

I'm extremely loyal. You hurt my friend, I will shank you in the face. But usually with words, because those are my weapon of choice.

I like to learn new things.

I'm tenacious.

Well then. That's five random facts and five nice things. *cracks knuckles* Let's do this.

Random things:

I grew up in a tiny Kansas town. There were nine students in my graduating class.

My freshman year of college, I went to a Bible school in Germany called Bodenseehof.

Ich spreche ein bißchen Deutsch. (As in, that is my best complete sentence.)

I had a horrible experience in Paris over those Christmas holidays. Someday I'd like to go back and actually enjoy the city without having men attempt to seduce me.

Getting to London after four months on the continent and seeing signs in English was one of the best moments of my life.

Nice things:

I make a really great cuppa.

I pick up on facial expressions really quickly, which means I can shift the conversation to the mood of the person I'm talking to.

I generally believe the best about people.

I have an almost eidetic memory. (Related: Don't tell me something you don't want me to remember.)

5: Color:Purple. Which is becoming a Thing, since someone has really noticed my love of purple Uniball pens.

19: Sport to watch:Baseball if it's live, figure skating on tv

29: Singer:Well... I don't often listen to music with lyrics because usually I listen while I'm writing, and I have these awesome playlists with soundtracks. So I had to really think about this, but I love Josh Groban.

108: Designer Clothes:are out of my budget

127: East Coast or West Coast:West Coast!

185: My favorite shampoo is:Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves, which I swear is the name of the shampoo. Great for curly hair.

I'm a pretty decent writer.

Connected to #1, I've got a very vivid imagination.

I'm very empathetic--I have a hard time not getting *too* involved in my friends' struggles, because I feel so much for them.

I'm very adventurous! I've traveled by myself to Europe four times now, starting when I was just 18.
