Uryuu heard a knock on the door somewhere between waking and sleeping, at first he rolled over. Not able to separate it as a part of reality in his half sleeping haze the quincy tried to return to sleep. The second knock, a bit louder, jolted him awake and he groaned, blue eyes found the clock 1:16 AM, he sighed.
Who in the world came knocking at this hour, still he stumbled over to his door dutifully and found a woman he felt as though he should know. However, he couldn’t quite recall if he truly knew her or perhaps just knew of her.
“Can I help you? Are you aware of the hour…?” he muttered with a sigh, his tired mind was probably slowing his recognition maybe if she spoke he’d remember.
Without much of a warning, the Captain moved her thin body past the crack in the door. Her fingers may have left a print of blood behind as she touched the surface upon entering. Something had gone wrong. [ ᴠᴇʀʏ ᴡʀᴏɴɢ ] Unexplained by any source of reason. Soifon, usually such a fearless woman, fled to an alternative ally. Someone she knew of, but yet, didn’t quite know.
Feet didn’t stop. Ignoring every word of his, her steps carried her across the home. [ ғʀᴏᴍ ʀᴏᴏᴍ ᴛᴏ ʀᴏᴏᴍ ] Curtains were to be closed. Blinds – shut. No source of light to be seen. Could be a world of chaos if certain steps were skipped. Soifon still did not feel as though the location was secure, but this was the best she could do. [ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴏᴍᴇɴᴛ ] Until a better plan came to mind.
When she turned to face the barking man of the house, she shushed him. Explaining, in short, nearly silent sentences. The Soul Society had fallen into a state of chaos. Soifon could only assume that some were like her. Still of sane mind – but others, they were slaughtering their comrades. She knew this by the act of one sneaking into her private chambers. Nearly severing an arm in the process. Words did no good. [ ᴀs ɪғ ᴛʜᴇsᴇ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ɴᴏ ʟᴏɴɢᴇʀ ʜᴇʟᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴀʙɪʟɪᴛʏ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴏᴍᴍᴜɴɪᴄᴀᴛᴇ ]
