#abandoned source

Like, a TV show that got cancelled or (in my case) a fanfic that got abandoned? Because that shit...... Really, really sucks.

I'm (unfortunately) REALLY connected to my source, and without divulging too much (because I really don't want my source known, I don't like talking about it), things weren't really going well for me or for any of my friends. And even though obviously I'm not who I was in my source, it still kind of- sucks? That I'll never get to know if 'my' friends and 'I' got a happy ending. You know?

It also sucks because my source was SO different from the media it was a fanfiction of, so seeing plenty of content for 'different versions' of 'my' friends and 'I' that all seem much happier feels like a punch to the gut. Because none of them are really me. And since my source is a random abandoned fanfic, I'm never going to get the chance to interact with my friends and family, even in other systems.

Idk. It's just kind of shitty and I wanted to say like. If any other introject has this same problem, you're not the only one ✌. And if you want to talk about it, I'm probably down.
