So you know how cats are said to mimic their companions and all that, yeah? Well, since the start of the lockdown, Iâve been... huh... talking aloud to my cat a lot, reading aloud just to have sound, asking her rhetorical questions (can you feel the crazy yet?). Long story short, when I got her she didnât make a peep, then she started chirping here and there, but these days sheâs basically commenting on every thing she does with differently-tuned meows like a damn opera singer. She announces her presence or her waking up with what honestly amounts to a screech. Itâs great.
Jetzt setz dich doch erstmal.
All this sudden resurgence of the ăăŒă Discourse and Iâm kinda just sitting over here like...
Why am I the only one around here who Iâve ever seen talk about about this ăăŒă?
Like??? I have so many questions? Does the fact that this ăăŒă was made into an official card mean that itâs something we can consider to have actually happened?
Does all the merchandise around the ăăŒă also point to it being more than just non-canon fluff? Was the ăăŒă a considered plot that was ultimately cut?Â
Why did Akira Amemiya ever even decide to draw this bikini pin-up of Ryuko Matoi for the trashy smut mag Nyantype that not only includes Senketsu in the image, but also features Ryuko holding hands and frolicking around with him in whatâs literally termed a ăăŒă? (After all, itâs harder to imagine Ryuko as your âwaifuâ if sheâs already with somebody else.)
And, if the ăăŒă is something we can consider canon, when did it happen? Why did it happen? What ever spurred this on? Was it Senketsuâs idea? Ryukoâs?
Does the fact that Mago, a head character designer on Space Patrol Luluco and the artist behind the âchibiâ Kill la Kill merchandise, drew fanart of the ăăŒă just this last December hint that there are folks at Trigger who are also interested in doing more with the ăăŒă, even now? Does it hint that there was something more with this ăăŒă that never came to fruition?
Is the ăăŒă just a fantasy illusion Ryuko has after Senketsuâs death about what she wishes she could have done with him? Or was the ăăŒă a spur-of-the-moment escapade that Ryuko and Senketsu didnât tell anyone else about? Could the ăăŒă have happened during that time Ryuko and Senketsu disappeared together for a while in Drama CD 2?
Like. Thereâs all this ăăŒă Discourse but not even a ăăŒă Anything about this and I am hurt.

About Rm9sbG93ZXJz
Ummm... Guys... You all realized last nightâs episode was an AU, right?
And that The X-Files is known for throwing episodes with zero continuity in the mix?
I mean... There are these episodes called âStand Alonesâ that made The X-Files such a trailblazer in the 90âs.
It looks like I'm one of the few people who actually liked this episode
Dissertation is printed off. Thank god!
Just got to hand it in on Monday now.
