Dark, lush and more enticing than ever, yet with a chilly feeling that warns you before stepping in. The Nepenthe looked richer and fuller than before, but it also spoke more clearly about the infernal being behind its wheel.
The reopening was a success, the club was filled to the brim and there was still a long line right at the gates. Tons of people waiting their turn to see whatās new and what remains the same. Najelon didnāt want to change it all, nor could his already emptied safe handle any more unnecessary excess. Still, the investment was worth it, he knew Raven had done her best to wipe off any sea remains, so he didnāt hold back with the expenses to honor her efforts.
Everything was going well, as expected, yet he had a nudging feeling, like he couldnāt let his guard down, not even a little, not even at his own home. Things hadnāt gone back to normal, not yet, perhaps not ever. Even the business that used to occur at the lowest level of the building was put on hold until time told of a promising profit. So, the Incubus stayed posted at his seat, the one only he and his special guests could use. Higher than others on a small platform before the main stage.Ā
