i wanna reply with something funny abt plot predictions but i'm honestly scared bc unless some miracle happens, it's still going to be published by EA which has just been (now officially) sold for $55 billion to the saudi government and trump's son in law. this is incredibly bad bc 1. a company being sold into private equity usually means its not long for the world, 2. they'll also be buying insane amounts of debt and will therefore likely do even MORE capitalistic business practices like layoffs and insane amounts of microtransations, and 3. the political views of the investment funds are Not Good and would likely be put on games they publish (worrying for games like Jedi Fascist Fighting Simulator or the sims which has always been v diverse)

so idk i'm just worried. are we gonna get a proper jedi 3? is the story gonna be what the creatives wanted? is it gonna be stuffed to the brim with microtransactions?? are we even gonna be able to buy/play it if the money's going to those ppl?
