Oooo what a good ask to chew on, Ace. The biggest and maybe only reason for Time to bond with Sky in the beginning is to break his bond to Demise--whatever that actually means this far out from Sky's imprisonment. The other alphas can't physically do that (for reasons not revealed but I bet you can guess), so orchestrating a bond between him and the others is a challenge to consider.

Legend - This is fun to contemplate. Because in his own time, Legend is not of the stature or status to be bonding to an omega. He's not even totally sure how to do it. If this was to happen at all, it would have to be initiated by Sky, which I can only picture being a hormonal thing. It would be hard to Legend to say 'no' with all those hormones and scent signals and physical signals, but like. The post-nut clarity is going to be ugly for both of them.

Warriors - HOOOOO BOY this one. This one might be the least likely. Both of them have had terrible experiences being bonded to another in the past. Perhaps rather than bonding, Warriors would be the one to point out to Sky that bonds fade, that the thread is broken, that Demise is dead and the only thing tethering Sky to him at this stage is his own heart. He needs to let it go.

I’ll do the Trust Us ask for now because I CANNOT pick a scene I like from Much to Learn. Let’s examine our options, shall we?

1. Warriors, as second-in-command, seems like a reasonable choice for this task on the surface. However, Wars doesn’t have the greatest history with omegas. He would probably be just as tense and anxious as Sky was. And, given that Sky is broadcasting some pretty significant “stay the hell away from me” vibes, I’m not sure that Wars would even make it into the nest. He would probably choose a much safer position of delegating to Wild and Hyrule handle it. Mission: failed.

2. Legend would be a very interesting choice for this, actually. Although he does not have a ton of self-confidence, he is primed to take orders from both Time and from Sky, even before Sky became lead omega. Because of his smaller stature, Legend is a non-threatening alpha. He is also light on his feet and quick-witted, so he could easily remove himself from any situation where Sky could become overwhelmed or, worse yet, violent. But I think that he would also just treat this like a temporary duty. I’m not sure that any lasting relationship would blossom between the two of them afterward.

Warriors is a quintessential alpha male in this series. He is brash and overconfident, he's strong and skilled in combat, he likes to be the center of attention so that he gets noticed by their omegas. And there's no better way to show off his skills and strength than in contest with another strong alpha.

Twilight is, physically-speaking, a model specimen of an alpha. He's tall, he's broad, he's strong, and few have gone up against him in battle and lived to tell the tale. He can keep up with Warriors both physically and verbally, especially in the beginning, and he bites back because that's what an alpha is expected to do. His is a more quiet sort of strength, though, and throughout the series we will see him become more in tune with his softer, more decidedly un-alpha tendencies.

But it’s so good!

Twilight being with the only other link who really gets what it’s like to want something that you know should go against your nature. But also someone who accepts that about themselves and isn’t any lesser for it, which can help assuage at least some anxiety about it. Plus Four can understand him both ways - Omega or Alpha tendencies. Four can also act as an Alpha if Twi wants to experiment without involving anyone else.

Then there’s the added benefit of Twi and Four being together before, so if Twilight is still early into his self discovery journey, it isn’t weird to see them together. There’s no pressure to come out or make any hasty declarations, nor any suspicion if they sneak away for some private time. The others will just assume the usual and be none the wiser.

Gosh it’s just so good!
