For all the managers out there- you get paid more than the average employee and took on more responsibility willingly. Do not ask your underpaid staff to find coverage for their shift. It is not the job of the employee under you but the job you signed on for to find the coverage or to cover the shift yourself. You have sick employees that really need the time off scouring to find someone to cover their shift when they should be resting. You ask employees to come in under dangerous conditions and to nearly kill themselves or to actually do so and then get mad when you’re even more understaffed because a human being lost their life. This is wrong and the dynamic drastically needs to change. Sincerely your fed up underpaid and under appreciated employees that keep lining your pockets for you.
