Rosebud Primary School has opened it’s doors for the day, and Tehya and Sergio Spencer arrive to get the cafeteria’s lunch menu started.

Sierra Spencer comes skipping in anxious to see her Daddy.

Tehya massages her back:  Hey Serg, what’s with the long face?

Sergio:  Long week, Tay....long week.  You wouldn’t believe me if I told ya.

Tehya:  Try me.

Sergio:  Well, a few mornings ago, me and Asya’s father, Dennis, woke up to an empty house..no Asya, no Sierra.

Tehya:  WhaaaT?!

Sergio: Yep.  She moved and took my daughter with her...without saying a word. I was more than devastated.

Tehya:  Wow, I can’t even imagine what you must be going thru.

Sergio:  That’s not the half of it...Dennis told me that she got married.

Tehya:  Married?!! ...to Who?!

Sergio:  I have no idea. Sierra said she didn’t know the guy, had never seen him before..

Tehya winces over this news.  

Sergio nearly in tears:  And my baby girl was crying over the phone, wanting to come home, Tay..it’s the hardest thing.  All I know is that they’re in San Myshuno.  That’s it.  It just infuriates me!

Tehya:  And she just left her Dad there with you?  

Sergio:  Asya and her father don’t get along.  Both of them are stubborn as hell.  But, Dennis told me it’s way past time we went our separate ways. And he’s right.  I took his advice and moved Lola and her son in, and I hope despite all this drama, she will have me as her husband.  

Tay, you know Lola..she’s the sweetest person.  It feels like a breath of fresh air around the farm now, and I be damned if Asya’s gonna keep Sierra away from us.

Tehya shakes her head in agreement:  That would be a friggin’ nightmare, Serg.  Well, try to get your mind off Asya’s mess...I’m glad you can see Sierra here at the school...so, you go catch up with her.  I’ma eat these noodles and do the kitchen cleanup for both of us.  Take your time.
