7 Quick Takes Friday: Week 4

For five nights I have gone to bed at a decent hour and awoken early in the morning. The sleep has been ranging about seven to nine hours, but the accomplishment is fact I am falling asleep before nine o’clock. For someone who has insomnia this is a big deal.

I have to apologize that this entry is being published later than normal. Today for some strange reason decided to be a day I needed to be sleeping most of it. It worries me that it means my sleep schedule once again will off the charts.

1. Its still Lent and I am still off Facebook and abstaining from meat. That is about it. Everything else has fallen to the wayside. 

2. Spring has sprung. Those awful Bradford Pears are blooming. They smell like rotting fish and make my eyes water. 

3. Made a meat and cheese tray for a coworker’s wedding shower. Forgot to take pic but for a non creative type, I think it turned out well. 

4. Lots of drama at work. People unhappy, people at the breaking point. I’m just treading water and ducking my head down and doing my work. 

5. Its a Lenten Friday: Lunch is catfish from the State Capitol building cafe more than likely. Dinner: I have not gotten that far. 

6. Ordered a hard copy (re: actual book) for Consecration to Jesus through Mary.
