Yesterday
Yesterday I went out for breakfast with my mother. The neighbors threw some powder on her hand to involve her in the Phagwah "activities" on the street. She was lucky it wasn't a bucket of water thrown on her because there was a lot of that. It was a happy time on our street (for those who participated in Phagwah).
My mother met an old friend while we were dining. There were both so very happy to see each other and had a good 'gyaff.' My mother wanted to go for a drive after that.
As I write this, I am noticing that I am using 'happy' a lot. This could be because of yesterday's post. By the way, yesterday's post made me think of my work on the Lessons Project - 7ps, calendar, and so on. That project focused more on achievement and success.

Sustainable Agriculture Insights and a Second Technopreneurship Group Experience
In our recent Technopreneurship group activity, called Game 2, our focus was on sustainable agriculture, a critical aspect of global development. We engaged in discussions centered around how technology could revolutionize farming practices to make them more environmentally friendly. Exploring concepts like vertical farming, which minimizes water and land usage while maximizing crop yield, we delved into the potential of sensors and robotics to optimize agricultural processes, thereby reducing their ecological footprint.
Throughout our discussions, we applied the 7Ps framework to dissect various dimensions of sustainable farming, such as product, price, and process. This structured approach enabled us to ask pertinent questions and gain deeper insights into the challenges and opportunities within the realm of sustainable agriculture. Additionally, we participated in the enlightening "Blind Side" exercise, which prompted us to identify what we knew and what we didn't know about sustainable agriculture, highlighting areas for further exploration and learning.
Reflecting on our collective experience, we recognized the pivotal role of technology in driving sustainable agricultural practices forward. However, we also acknowledged the inherent complexity of the field and the ongoing need for exploration and innovation. As we move forward, our group aims to foster even greater collaboration and exchange of ideas, recognizing that through continuous learning and inquiry, we can contribute meaningfully to the advancement of sustainable agriculture.
In conclusion, our journey through Game 2 underscores the importance of interdisciplinary dialogue and experiential learning in addressing pressing global challenges. By leveraging technology and embracing a spirit of inquiry, we aspire to unlock new possibilities in sustainable agriculture, paving the way for a more resilient and equitable future for all.

Paper for publishing
One of the first papers I submitted for publishing was a paper to report the findings of my personal research project. I worked tirelessly on the paper. I was very proud of what I came up with (the manuscript containing the purpose of the study, methodology, 7Ps, and analysis). The paper summarized my research, which included categorization of the thousands of quotes, success stories, and so on posted on the social media pages for the project (example of a social media page: https://www.facebook.com/lifelessons1) and analysis of linkages/relationships. I hope the paper will be published soon.
Some highlights (from a document showing early versions of the paper/my workings):
Elevator Pitch
You may have heard that I was stranded in New York a few years ago (see posts on my experience at this link: https://fahmeenaodetta.tumblr.com/tagged/strandedinnewyork). At first, I was horrified because I had lost important items and could not retrieve them. Afterwards, I calmed down and started thinking about strategies to retrieve my important items.
After a while, I started enjoying New York. I enjoyed Bryant Park. I enjoyed walking around Times Square. I found quite a few tea shops and went in to look at their offerings. I even pitched my pickled meat business idea at a bank. I wasn't totally prepared but I did a good job.
It is important to sell your ideas and even “sell yourself” especially when seeking a job. In the past, I practiced an elevator pitch in case I needed to pitch an idea (here is an article on perfecting your elevator pitch: https://www.businessnewsdaily.com/4034-elevator-pitch-tips.html).
This reminds me of my 7 Ps of success. One of the Ps is for Persuasion.

7Ps Framework For Effective Meetings
To make our idea/s come to a reality, we must first assemble a team. Of course, in order for us to achieve something we need the help and support of other people. We cannot do it on our own flying solo all through out. So our 3-man team established a meeting last week to research, organize and talk about how to make the prototype of the product.
Naturally, business meetings aren’t just casual ordinary meetings. Business meetings means business and must generate an idea to that will give the team progress after the meeting. Our team followed the 7Ps framework in order to have an effective meeting. The 7Ps Meeting Framework encourages you to first define a clear meeting purpose, then choose the right people and processes to generate a product that meets that goal. The framework will serve as a reminder to prepare for the meeting while also addressing practical difficulties and hazards.
Needless to say, the purpose of our meeting is to think about what SDG should we pick and what product should we make that will resolve the problem of the chosen SDG. From my previous blog, “Our Water is Suffocating”, it is mentioned there about what product we are trying to create. Then we assigned each other roles: hustler (Ella Aclo), hacker (Ryan Naguita), and Hipster (Harvy Jalandoni).
Before the scheduled meeting, we researched and/or thought in advance about any potential products we could suggest during the meeting. Although we were having issues in scheduling the meeting since all members have different free time and the major practicality is that the pandemic is still going on and it’s highly impossible for us to meet up personally and create the product, considering the fact that all members live faraway from each other. But we will try our best even if we are just meeting virtually and we’ll possibly try to meet personally if given the chance since this product needs more hands it could take to produce, even if it is just a prototype.
