“Keep walking leech!” Ineke was yelling at me. pulling on the handcuffs that were cutting into my wrists. It hurt. I think she just liked to hurt me. I think I would do the same if I were her. But the handcuffs weren’t the thing I was worrying about. The pulling on them while being too tight was nothing really. No these were specifically made for me, a blankbody. They were filled with explosive powders and with a simple switch of a button were to be detonated. Enough power to blow off my hands. How do I know? They had to be tested. And I am besides the guard dog, also the test rabbit. It is something I’d rather forget. But the constant pulling was no help. All I could do was nod and try to speed up without speeding too quickly and scaring anyone with sudden movements. It always was like walking on eggshells in the hallways with so many others around. Their looks o fear and hatred were already burned within me. All I wanted was to run and get out back to my garden. But I know that would lead nowhere. Not to mention, this is what I deserve. I just wished I knew why the routine was broken. Usually at this time I’d have a bit of free time in my garden. I hadn’t even watered my plants yet or gotten rid of the bugs that during the day thought they could harm my precious children. But there was no use in arguing against ineke. Or even asking questions for that matter. As if I deserved to know what was up. As if I had that right. Ineke took a few lefts and rights. Greeting her colleagues along the way until she met up with Sanne who was holding a big ring and like a cylinder with strings attached to it like you’d see on a face mask... And all were made out of the same material as the cuffs... Oh… a collar… And a bit… “We have a long way to go lick. America, LA in fact. This is just for your and my own safety.” Sanne mumbled as she slipped the collar around my neck and the bit between my jaws not letting me close my mouth anymore. It was uncomfortable… but… I was and still am a monster. I can’t fault them for being careful and think of their own safety. I’m glad they did. I don’t want to hurt them. I wouldn’t trust myself either. Sanne was kind enough to at least tell me we were leaving the Netherlands for America. Which all in all, she didn’t have to tell me. But why? Why were we going to America? And LA of all places?
