lunch/breakfast today consisted of spinach/kale mix, kiwi, apple, orange pepper, cucumber, tomato, a lil mayo, and some chik’n stirfry stuff that we made the other night warmed up with some daiya. it was super filling. and just what i needed after feeling like poop after the ice cream last night.
so just a little update/rambling.
k has been doing yoga with me and a little bit of walking on the treadmill. it’s nice because it helps keep me motivated when i have someone to do it with, and he has been very encouraging too. we have been eating really well, we’ve been bringing lunches to work and cooking vegan and low carb food at home. it’s helps alot to have k on board for this. i don’t do well with junk in the house and we both are commited to keeping only healthy food here so its awesome. well, we do have the ice cream which will be tempting but i will stay strong!
so far i’ve been pretty motivated, yesterday was a little bit down but i feel energized and am sleeping better because i’m actually very physically tired when i go to bed.
i’ve lost a bit of weight from my highest weight, but i’m not weighing myself too frequently so i dont get obsessive like i tend to. it’s nice seeing some progress even if it’s only water weight at the beginning. i won’t be counting any numbers until i can see some solid/consistent progress because i dont want my mood to be negatively affected by the ups and downs of the scale.
